It was a spur of the moment so got what I paid for.
Pros:

It was a beautiful entrance and the staff were lovely and very accommodating.

Cons:

My room had slanted floors , there was a massive gap under the door, I didn’t like how u couldn’t lock the door from the inside. There was big on the cobwebs on the ceilings. The mattresses were hard, and the live entertainment went on to 1am and it was really loud.
But at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Beautiful building though.

The Royal Hotel Scarborough
Pros:

They are having work done,so our room was looking out on scaffold and workers drilling early morning. Beds comfy, loads of towels supplied off nice cleaning staff Breakfast was the worse ive ever eaten,bread was stale and 3 pieces in basket,half a blackpudding slice,everything thrown on a plate,all messy,tea cold,staff unresponsive. Plates covered in water.notThe 2 gentlemen on the main desk did what they could for us,I thank them for that, hotels a mess basically.

Pros:

Good because we had a dog. and they let us have however breakfast just outside the breakfast room

Windows are not clean. Some bits of carpet needs cleaning

Very pleasant and comfortable with great staff and very good facilities
Pros:

The room was amazing,lots of room with a couple of couches to relax on.The bed was huge and very comfortable and the huge bath was an added bonus

Had a lovely time. Rested and had a well deserved break from caring for my husband. Thank you.
Pros:

It’s close to home for me.
Staff were really friendly and my room was comfortable. I love the pool and the jazz cafe.

Cons:

There was no bath towel in my room.

Pros:
