Just 5mins walk from the train station.
Good size room and great breakfast
Air conditioning in the bathroom to stop mirrors steaming up and toilet brush,
It's a nice chilled hotel, quiet and a good breakfast staff were lovely
Was initially put in a room on 4th floor, the corridor stunk of weed. Asked to be moved, which was no problem for the staff. Room we were moved to had fresh blood stains on the sheets. After pointing this out the sheets were soon changed.
Good size room, that was clean and good for a business stopover.
It's been difficult to get a VAT invoice

On arrival, the receptionist was obviously put out a customer had arrived and stopped her gossip with colleagues. I asked for a room key, access number. Told I 'must' get it from the email just sent to me. without the will to boot up lap top, three times I had to battle with her before she wrote it down for me. The reason.. They want to save paper!!!.
Best to come. At dinner ( which was OK ish) I asked for a pint of Beer Shandy. What is that says waitress / bar attendant.? A half of bitter and topped up with Lemonade. She returns with a small glass of Larger and a bottle of lemonade. I quiz her as to what am I to do with it.. I don't know what it is because I don't drink says the young girl. I don't knit but I know what a jumper is was my curt reply. Three attempts and I settle for a Coke Cola.
Staff very friendly and helpfull . Room comfortable. Nice breakfast . Waived the parking charge and nice big carpark . Drinks reasonably priced .
Strange smell in the bathroom coming from the plug hole but the bathroom was very clean . Reported it and was offered another room if we wanted it but we were leaving the next day . Door keypads are hard work if you need glasses at night.
Overall our stay was as we’d expect, the room was clean and tidy on arrival and we had a good nights’ sleep.
The only thing that was less than expected for our two-night stay, was that our room was not tidied after the first night, the refreshments were not replenished, or cups cleaned.
