It was simply a great place to stay
One of the absolute best Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Front desk was friendly and courteous.
Everything Was great and very clean. Only complaint was the us being on the 3rd floor and the elevator being out of order. Before booking someone had said the same thing on their own review from a few months earlier in May and it is now July. So either not getting fixed or is broken often. But like I said that was our only complaint and a little exercise is ok... Breakfast was very good and the lady serving breakfast was very kind and sweet to our son.
The cancellation policy at this hotel is a joke. I was 45 minutes late cancelling my reservation because our travel plans changed due to a personal family reason and they charged me the full rate for the room the second I hit the cancel button which was two days before I was to check in, and are refusing to do anything to help. Make sure you really want to stay here before you book. They will not work with you at all and GM Randy Patrick will just respond with condescending oh I’m so sorry, this is the cancellation policy you agreed to when you booked and we have to be consistent and basically steal from people because it’s our policy . Yes I get there’s a policy but the full cost of the room for being 45 minutes past the 6pm deadline to cancel! Life happens, I couldn’t avoid cancelling, and I was a minutes late, not a day or a no show. Now my family is out over $200! Will never book another IHG property again. They keep responding to my reviews about how sorry they are and how they empathize with my situation but still cannot help because it would be unfair to other guests. I have a genius idea - change your policy! I’m going to write this review on every site o can find. It’s unfair my family who’s already hurting due to the reason we had to cancel and now has lost over $200 to these thieves. I would be fine paying a cancellation fee but being charged full freight is robbery.

The matress was not good.
The property was clean. The only negative thing I have to say about the cleanliness was that bottles in the shower. Some of them were old and nasty looking but besides that it was very clean. The staff was very nice.
First of all, my family had an emergency. The hotel and booking.com made it impossible to cancel or reschedule without a big fee. I spent days fighting with them and got nothing resolved. The hotel blamed booking and booking blamed the hotel. The manager at the hotel, Randy Parker, was very rude to me when I was trying to address this issue. The other staff that managed the front desk was very nice and very accommodating. I didn’t see the manger in person unfortunately. The icing on the cake was the hotel elevator quit working Sunday morning and never got fixed, which happens and wasn’t a huge deal. But we were on the 4th floor with two littles… so it wasn’t very relaxing.
