I really wanted to go home.
Pros:

The Decor in the lobby.

Cons:

The rooms fell off . No microwave in the room and breakfast was not great at all like it used to be.

Cleanliness of concern. I think cleaners understand most people stay for one night and rooms just need a deep clean, which they aren't getting. I won't be staying here again.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! This place is disgusting! The comforters appear to be filled with MOLD/MILDEW, and when I contacted the front desk, they stated that those are just “feathers” and nothing to worry about. The carpet in the hallway smells rancid and horrible, and to put a cherry on top, we found a ROACH casually crawling on the bed where we were laying. I advise everyone NOT to come here for your visit; you will be highly disappointed.

Poor Wifi connection
Pros:

We are currently at this hotel as part of a family reunion. The rooms are a nice size but could use a bathroom upgrade. Microwaves are provided in a common area as opposed to in room.
My biggest concern is the poor wifi signal. An attempt to cash app had such poor reception that it timed out. Yes, I am utilizing the hotel wifi.

Cons:

The breakfast the last time I came there the breakfast is pretty good. This one was OK. I had the same thing every day waffles in the eggs and a little bit of variety.

First "Select" time
Pros:

Decent location and friendly staff, but had a broken shower head and no mini frig. Clean and first time at a "Select" as opposed to "Place". Differences are small, but Place is a little higher end (plastic glasses instead of glass, paper plates, etc...).

Room very warm did not cool off
Pros:

Room had garage in it. Offered different room which was extremely warm (80 degrees ) on check in to the room. After several hours of A/C running temperature only dropped 2 degrees.

A nice Hyatt hotel near Richmond Airport
Pros:

Hotel was recently renovated. Rooms have new carpets, furniture, paint, lighting and fixtures. Common areas also refreshed with similar upgrades. Hotel offers an included breakfast and is also conveniently located near restaurants and stores offering plenty of dining options. They also have various snacks for sale in the lobby which was very convenient.

We definitely escaped the heat, got to sleep in a bed and got fed
Pros:

There was a bed Had an ice machine to keep drinks cold in sink, had a decent breakfast not enough syrup. 24 hour coffee tea bar downstairs. Pregnant lady working front desk was able to give my son a muffin and water when we checked in she was really sweet. (We were without power for 13 hours in the heat before deciding to check in)

Floor sunk in in places under carpet and in bathroom , Hair on carpet, thin floors we were told my kids were making to much noise walking around even though we checked in late. door in bathroom separating from wood, hair in shower, not enough soap or body wash, ants everywhere, fridge didn’t work, A/c was stuck on artic blast luckily we used a pillow to block some of the air. some of towels had blue fibers on them. Very expensive for last minute check in but cheaper then some. shared microwave in hallway. By the time you warm up your food, the food is cold before you get it to your room.

Pros:

Worst Hyatt Experience. The hotel just flipped to a select and clearly was not ready. Also why would Hyatt try and degrade the brand with Motel 6 like quality. Maybe this hotel didn't get it right?

COMFORTABLE!

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, THE ONLY THING THAT WAS DIFFERENT FROM LAST COUPLE YEAR WHEN I STAY WAS BUFFET HAS CHANGED.

I DID'T LIKE THAT BUFFET HAD CHANGED, I RAVE ABOUT IT TO MY FAMILY AND FOUND IT HAD CHANGED.
