the situation around our room booking wasnt handled very well and disappointing after long stay
Pros:

only problem with the upgrade. first nights stay we were upgraded and fantastic by all means.

Cons:

then we had another booking elsewhere for another weeks stay and we decided to cancel that hotel to return to MAXX but upon arrival the room wasn't same. we wasted so much time with many staff and viewing rooms was horrible and un professional service. we shouldn't be told one thing and then when arrive get taken to complete opposite room accommodation.

we weren't just staying ONE night we were staying a COUPLE OF WEEKS..

Pros:

Perfect location on the bund, great access to view of pudong skyline and short walk to both nanjing road and yu garden market. The staff were brilliant.

Cons:

The hotel doesnt have its own bar, but there are other bars locally.

Pros:

Die Lage direkt an The Bund ist sehr gut. Yuyuan Garden auch gleich um die Ecke um man kann vieles direkt zu Fuß erreichen.
Das Hotel ist meinem Wunsch gefolgt und hat ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen zur Verfügung gestellt.

Cons:

Das Zimmer selber war sehr klein, aber OK, jedoch konnte man bei dem verbauten Fenster nicht von Ausblick reden.
