No pool!

The location is great.

Cons:

We specifically booked this hotel for the pool. When we arrived, there was a piece of paper on the check-in desk stating it was closed. I asked if it was just for the day, hoping we could use it the next morning. I was told it has been closed since December. There was no disclosure of this when I booked my reservation. When a guest books your hotel for a major amenity, there should be transparency if this amenity is not available.

Hampton Inn should do better!
Pros:

We chose this hotel as it was convenient to family. Unfortunately it was very tired & run down. The shower doer was literally falling off & there were patches of wallpaper ripped off. There was some snow that came while we were staying there & there was no effort to plow parking lot or even shovel under the portico. As we have been Diamond Hilton Honors for a number of years, we typically enjoy a Hampton Inn, but this was not an enjoyable experience.

Our bed was hard, climate in room was either too warm or to cold. Pool facilities were closed.
