A nice stay with an excellent evening meal
Pros:

Location in a nice village location with pleasant and engaging staff with an excellent restaurant and a good breakfast so will no doubt stay there again

Pros:

The dog & bear hotel a Lenham è il luogo ideale per visitare il Kent per la posizione, l'ambiente, il cibo offerto a colazione e nel ristorante e per le persone. Era il tipo di hotel e di paese che cercavo per aggiungere significato al viaggio, dato che offre un servizio molto buono e non anonimo anzi conforme al luogo.
Avevamo l'auto a noleggio ed abbiamo trovato il parcheggio disponibile sul posto molto sicuro.
Durante il nostro soggiorno nel paese vi è stato un importante problema per un danno alla rete idrica e l'hotel è riuscito a darci il massimo supporto, garantendo comunque il servizio e aiutandoci al massimo per rispondere a questa emergenza.

Cons:

L'hotel non molto è curato negli spazi esterni.
Si potrebbero valorizzare maggiormente gli aspetti storici culturali con informazioni sul luogo e, magari, possibilità di visita a un prezzo vantaggioso per il vicinissimo e famoso castello di Leeds, che è davvero costoso.
Il ristorante, presente nella struttura, offre ottimi piatti ma tutti abbastanza costosi ma, avendo in pratica l'esclusiva nei dintorni, potrebbe pensare ad aggiungere a listino anche qualche proposta meno ricercata e più economica.

Enttäuschend am Ende des Urlaubs

Zimmer war geräumig, einige der Mitarbeitenden waren bemüht und freundlich

Cons:

Bad sehr schlicht, für den Preis nicht annehmbar!
Wir hatten Pech, dass es in dem Ort ab abends kein Wasser gab, sprich: kein Duschen, kein Waschen etc.
Daran konnten die Mitarbeitenden nichts ändern, aber der Umgang damit war sehr enttäuschend! Beim Frühstück (es gab ohnehin nur eine kleine Auswahl - kein Wasser), gab es kein Entgegenkommen, die Rezeptionistin verhielt sich sehr unwirsch und unfreundlich.

Excellent location to stay when walking the Pilgrims or North Downs Ways - just a 10/15min walk down into the village to the square. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Geweldige overnachting in ern mooie kamer, leuke pub erbij.
Pros:

Eigenlijk alles. Leuk en ad rem personeel
Lekker eten in het restaurant, ontbijt goed. Prachtige kamer (we hadden gekozen voor de grote kamer)

Alles was eigenlijk goed. Het dorpje is mooi, maar is heel klein.

Pros:

Wir wollten zum Abschluss unserer Englandreise eine schöne letzte Nacht in einem britischen B&B verbringen. Dank der Rezensionen haben wir hier gebucht. Die guten Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Das Bett war super und auch die Lage zum Eurotunnel. Das Ambiente war urig und zumindest das Kotlett im Pub sehr lecker.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße hin über dem Pub. Die Fenster haben einfach Verglasung, dementsprechend war es sehr laut. Bis Mitternacht der Pub und die ganze Nacht die Autos. Wenn man am nächsten Tag eine lange Reise vor sich hat, ist das echt blöd. Beim buchen unbedingt darauf achten, dass das Zimmer nicht zur Straße geht.
Das Zimmer war auch recht urig und an sich ganz schön. Es riechte staubig. Aber das Bad war eklig, verschimmelte Fugen, die Toilette war unappetitlich und das Waschbecken verstopft.
