Cons:

Did not like that when I went to get ice there was popcorn left in ice bucket from previous guest. Cleaning staff needs to be more attentive when cleaning rooms.

I wouldn’t stay there again. Rooms were not clean and the place was understaffed.

Cons:

There was water dripping down the wall from the sprinkler. There was black mold on the top of the bathtub in the bathroom.
We only needed a place to stay for the evening so we made do, but I would have left if we had to spend anymore time in the room than we did

A little bit expensive
Pros:

Great location, walking distance to bars and shops.
Cute little town
Very close drive to Mount Rushmore
Breakfast was ok

Cons:

The hotel could use an update for the price
Pool wasn't working when we were there. I think they had a Heat pump issue, something like that

Great stay with a mini dog park
Pros:

There is a pet exercise area behind the hotel in an L-shape… dog waste cleanups and a gate on each end… one side is the hotel, the other is a beautiful rocky cliff and it is grassy… it is great for the dog to get some exercise and nicer than some dog parks we have been to! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good and well-tended by staff.

Cons:

Nothing was really missing. I think they should have mentioned the dog play area at check in but we did find it the first morning!

Great stay and wonderful amenities
Pros:

The rooms were clean and had all of the amenities. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were amazing. The manager upgraded our rooms for free. The breakfast buffet was very good and lots of choices. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The staff was good, especially Angel. He was wonderful. The breakfast was decent, but I couldn’t get past the fact that

The location was wonderful

Cons:

Well, they had a new pool and a new hot tub. There were no lights in the hot tub and as an elderly person, it was hard to figure the steps cause they were so deep. Also, I looked at the same dirty floors in the elevator in the foyer the entire time I was there nobody took a mop to the spilled coffee and mud or dirt.

Pros:

The staff was amazing. We had an issue with the room we were given. They were very apologetic and moved us quickly. They also checked with us again when they saw us in the halls to make sure everything was good.

Cons:

It wasn't to the standards of clean I would like. It felt dated and unkempt.
