Room was a decent size with a great view. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast was good.
Pool could have been cleared of pine needles more often.
This was our third stay at the Park Palace. We stayed for five days and the management kindly booked me into a beautiful quiet room with a view. The breakfast, as always, offered excellent choices that we ate on the verandah. This is also where we took an evening drink and charcuterie board when we were too tired to go out to dinner. The staff are warmly attentive in every way. And it was a delight to walk back up quiet Via di San Leonardo to the treed garden, a friendly welcome, and a cool swim in the pool.
We still miss the offer of a simple evening meal from years ago when the Park Palace Hotel offered a hot dinner to its guests. This was very popular with families like ours. Sadly, that has gone. At least there is a generous cold charcuterie cheese board on offer, but a wider range of dishes would be helpful for travellers who are too tired to go out.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, the location and views amazing. My room was excellent
I would have liked there to be more dinner options available on site
Beautiful!

A fabulous location set back from the city. Authentic villa tastefully decorated with original antiques. Quiet, peaceful and the perfect tonic from the hustle and noise of Florence .
It was in a lovely area just outside the city but in easy walking distance.
Very peaceful.
Paying for parking on top of quite an expensive room plus tourist tax

Faded glory hotel , lovely pool and outside terrace, comfortable bed , good breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful, chilled quite retreat away from the tourist traps of Florence.
Most of the plugs are old style so difficult to use charges etc , a bit dated decor, a bit out of centre, so quite a walk , (30 minutes plus) but does make it quite and relaxing, weather wasn’t great so unable to use pool (not blaming hotel for weathering!!)
This hotel was such a shady, tranquil oasis away from the madness of central Florence. It’s very well served by buses though so you can get down into town pretty quickly. We had the most beautiful view from our room right out over the Tuscan hills (room was Fiesole). The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely superb. There are two superb restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel. They are called Chalet Fontana and La Terrazza Del Principe and both have beautiful Tuscan views and do wonderful food.
There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like. Make sure you bring a Type L electric plug adapter as there was only one socket in the room that took the usual European two prong plugs. Type L has three round prong in a row.
