The Park Palace really made our holiday.
Pros:

The Park Palace really made our holiday. My daughters and I loved the location, being a little out of the centre but still walkable to everything. Wonderful breakfast served by friendly staff and a pool and garden for relaxing under the trees. Our room had a lovely view over Florence and the hills beyond.

Cons:

We loved everything, but if you don't like walking you would need to get a taxi or bus into town.

Wonderful
Pros:

Old world charm and location just outside the centre of Florence.
Staff were lovely and room was large and very comfortable.

Cons:

Only a small dislike, the pool was in need of refreshment, old fashioned ladder steps should be replaced by graded in poll steps and the drop off between the deep end and shallow end is to extreme and should be more gradual.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff
Pros:

We loved that it was a short walk into Florence but a quiet retreat at the end of the day

Cons:

There was an unpleasant smell unfortunately in our room - possibly a problem with the drains.

Pros:

the hotel is located away from the main centre in a beautiful leafy suburb. There was a convenient bus stop just outside. Really nice walks from hotel to centre. The hotel was really tranquil and a beautiful old building full of character. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast. Very comfortable room with a large bathroom and excellent shower. The crystal clear pool was welcome at the end of hot days exploring Florence. All in all a very enjoyable experience

Wonderful place to stay in Florence!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Park Palace and would happily stay here again.

Our experience actually started with a bit of a scare! We arrived by taxi and, completely by mistake, I left my wallet in the car with all my documents inside. I only realised when we were checking in. The staff immediately helped us, called the taxi company and explained what had happened. Within about 10 minutes, the taxi was back at the hotel with my wallet. I was incredibly grateful. I believe the lady who helped us was Fiamma — thank you again for being so kind and helpful!

The service throughout our stay was excellent. Every morning at breakfast, a lovely lady would greet us and ask how we would like our coffee almost as soon as we arrived. It was a small detail, but exactly the kind of personal attention that makes a stay memorable.

Our room was very comfortable, the swimming pool area was lovely, and we really enjoyed the location. The hotel is situated on Viale dei Colli, in a peaceful area while still being within walking distance of some of Florence’s most beautiful spots. Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato al Monte are around a 25–30 minute walk away, while taking Costa dei Magnoli brings you to Forte di Belvedere in roughly 10–15 minutes and Ponte Vecchio in around 25–30 minutes.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Beautiful location, comfortable rooms and, above all, genuinely kind and helpful staff. Hotel Park Palace was a wonderful part of our time in Florence and we would definitely recommend it.

Pros:

This was our favorite stay in our Italian holiday, it feels unreal that we could be there. Taxi drivers and people we met in Florence kept telling us how amazing the location is. The AC was perfection, the bed an absolute pleasure. The pool was very nice, you just need to have a good anti mosquitoes spray because the Florence mosquitoes are not joking around. The staff was incredible too. Felt like a solid 5*

We missed an affordable restaurant around for the evenings we were too tired to go down to the city

My room was small so felt a bit claustrophobic, esp as I had a large suitcase but it was a lovely room
