Pros:

I loved this hotel and how it was so close to the seafront. Staff were extremely friendly and check in very easy. It's an old hotel with a lot of character! My room was extremely clean and well equipped, the shower was great, and the bed was very comfy. I stayed in room 'Greville' and I do just want people with mobility restrictions to be aware there is a big step to get into the shower in this particular room. I would recommend informing the hotel of guests with mobility restrictions when booking so the hotel can make the necessary accommodations if possible.

I did not eat here so cannot comment on food but had a drink in a bar downstairs and felt very welcomed and the staff were very friendly and polite. It was a very comfortable stay. As it is on the sea front it is close to various restaurants and bars but there is also an onsite restaurant and although I did not eat here myself, it is great if you do not want to venture out too far. If you are visiting Deal I highly recommend staying here!

Deal wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

Generell war alles in Ordnung. Hier würde ich nur unser Zimmer beanstanden (Room: Hardy), aber nur aus einem Grund, wir mögen keine DG Einheiten, ist rein persönlich, keine negative Kritik! Das Zimmer war sonst prima.

Cons:

Shower gap, slight water sipping on the floor. Flash Handle of the toilet too tight-not flushing well. Overall the toilet is clean. Family room needs painting specially the ceiling.

Excellent hotel. Very little to fault it. Very happy
Pros:

Lovely airy room (sea view next time!) Very comfy. Nice bathroom. Really friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Pints over looking the sea. Really great.

Cons:

Parking included would have been good.

The Royal has an unmatched location and is a lovely place to stay.
Pros:

The location is outstanding, the staff warm and helpful , the coffee machine in the bedroom a welcome touch

Cons:

The room only had one socket that took a charging cable and parking was a challenge.
