I left in a rush I didn’t eat breakfast, maybe next time. I had an early flight to catch. I like the way they welcomed me from the television screen, that was a nice surprise.
I didn’t like the on going construction, because I couldn’t find the entrance, the sign is faded and I got lost my gps took me somewhere else.

The first time we stumbled upon this hotel was purely by coincidence, as we didn't know of any hotels in the area! Since that day, we have returned approximately six times. We live in Orlando but are originally from Chile; we have many family members and friends who visit us, and every time they do, we bring them here. We do this because we have consistently received excellent service—the rooms are clean, there is the thoughtful touch of the cookies (which my daughter loves), but above all, there is the kind attention of Emily, who makes us feel right at home.

To start, Sarasota/Bradenton Airport had plenty of signage concerning Hotel Shuttle pick up but, no way for contacting the hotel shuttle. Seems to be a popular trend for Airports these days. Either non-existent or broken! Finally rescued by Southwest employees who contacted Doubletree for me after waiting an hour. Had room with an assistance bathroom. You would have had to be Hercules to operate the shower diverter. A little lubricant would go a long way. As a lifetime HH Silver member complimentary water was it. Welcome! So as not to be charge $3.00 a bottle! Day 2 - no water, had to pay anyway - $6.00. Ran out of cookies. Outstanding views of the parking lots and mechanicals. Restaurant closes at 8; Bar at 9 - who does that in Florida, especially with a business group in residence? Staff were friendly and the food and staff service was good.
Uneventful hotel experience (definitely what you want when traveling). Quick stopover just to sleep, didn't use any of the amenities. Room was clean and staff was friendly.
Van driver Sunday night ( caucasian) was not personal. Never said a word. No welcome or anything. Hispanic driver picked up this morning arguing to me about pick up area. Again needs training. As a business owner training and personal service is paramount to the satisfaction when it comes to customer service.
The hotel was clean, quiet, and enjoyable to stay in. Mark at the front desk was very helpful in assisting us in retrieving a phone we had left in the room after checking out.
This hotel is nice, but what really made the experience AMAZING is purely attributed to Emily. She helped me out a n numerous occasions. I was traveling for work and had many packages shipped she helped me keep track of things, was extremely accommodating and really went above and beyond.
This is fraud, a serious safety breach, and a complete violation of privacy.
I booked through Expedia/Hotwire and stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Sarasota Bradenton Airport — and while I was in the shower, with the door LOCKED, a man entered my room anyway. I screamed “NO” and he still walked in. This is beyond unacceptable — this is dangerous.
I immediately demanded to leave and was told I would receive a full refund. I didn’t even stay 30 minutes.
Then comes the worst part:
David. David. David.
David promised me a refund again and again and again — every time sending me a “confirmation”.
Every single time, it was a fake receipt.
David sent me a fake refund receipt.
A week later — David sent another fake receipt.
Again — promises, again — lies.
This is not “bad service”.
This is intentional deception and fraud.
Between a stranger entering my locked room while I was naked in the shower, and a representative (David) repeatedly sending fake documents and false confirmations — this company has completely failed on every level: safety, honesty, and basic human decency.
I expect an immediate real refund, not another fake email from David, and a full investigation into this incident.

cleaning lady top. very clean but knocks on 8 am on the door to clean. For 300 dollars a night I think the room should be cleaned daily. sink not working .

Man sleeps in his white van parked on side of building (creepy). Also found it weird there is a noise complaint notice in elevator that after 10pm is quiet time and if broken you will be asked to leave. Our first night there on a Wednesday the bar was so noisy until 1130pm. I could hear it in my room with door closed.
