I like the location to places we visited. I also like the customer service. Everyone was very helpful. The cleaning staff was good as well.
I have stayed at this hotel before and I did not experience what I did this time around. The room I stayed in this time was not good at all. The room shook every time doors closed and shook the bed area frequently. The sink got clogged during our stay and maintenance had to fix it. The shower also backed up. We requested maintenance for this issue but it was not needed as it fixed itself somehow.
Everything was wonderful!
Nothing
We stayed 4 nights here while visiting Alexandria and had a great stay. The hotel is walking distance to the waterfront as well as the metro station. There is a good breakfast and lunch spot next door and lots of shopping and restaurants near. The hotel is valet park and has a great courtyard. Inside is a library/ study and it is overall a quiet place. We had a king room with a balcony and pull out couch. The pull out is rough but I’ve never found one that isn’t. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom is European, all one room together . The staff was pleasant and we had no issues
I've been here before and enjoyed it and this return visit was just as enjoyable. From the front courtyard to the friendly service to the comfortable room to the nice breakfast, all was on point.
Stayed at the Archer in Old Town Alexandria for 4 weeks and overall I was pleased. The facilities were clean and well kept, the staff was TOP NOTCH, the "to go" breakfasts were convenient, the location is AMAZING. Because I was there so long, issues were bound to come up (minor in nature) and all concerns/feedback were resolved in a timely manner. Its definitely a boutique hotel and they made accommodations for my extended stay - so overall id give it a solid A for an experience
Very good and clean hotel in a very nice and lively area. Stayed here a couple of nights. The only cons I noticed are pretty poor noise insulation both in and outdoor and the AC machine which is a bit noisy when in operation.
A lot of restaurants nearby.
This is a fabulous hotel from top to bottom. Everyone who works there was fantastic from start to finish. The valets, front desk, cleaning service and servers were lovely and helpful.
Beautiful hotel and in a prime location. Easy to access the trolley and train. Various options for food and local shops. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I appreciated being greeting each time I walked into the hotel. The room was clean and it had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was a 10/10 for comfort!!
Perfect hotel for Alexandria getaway. Take the trolley down to the waterfront or walk and shop along the way you can’t lose. HIGHLY recommend the rain shower king suite. Shower was enormous and so sumptuous. Room was large and the whole hotel was aesthetically perfect. 10/10
My stay at Archer Hotel Alexandria was exceptional from start to finish. The room and bed were an absolute 10/10—so comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt elevated and well taken care of. The drinks were just as impressive—crafted perfectly and a great way to unwind. Overall, an amazing experience, and I would absolutely stay here again.
Love the location! We’ve stayed here multiple times.
The room was disappointing. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a classic room, NEVER again. The sound was terrible, the room was small and the thermostat was impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature and the light that was blaring from it kept me up all night! I was highly disappointed from this particular stay. Also the staff that check us in…. FABULOUS!!! Give that girl a raise she was friendly, excited, covered all of the amenities…however the one that checked us out made me feel subpar.
Love the customer service! Sheets and bed are super luxurious. Nespresso and Fiji water are great. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back!
We like the Archer so much, we returned for a second visit. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The hotel and amenities were spotless and well maintained. The courtyard is a pleasant place to relax. During our last stay we got massages, which were wonderful. The location is close enough for a pleasant walk to the waterfront. Along King Street there are many restaurants offering a variety of foods, and interesting shops and boutiques. In all it's a great place to stay.
