The hotel cannot accept check-ins any later than 22:00. Please note that this property cannot accommodate hen and stag parties. Parking is on street and parking vouchers are available from reception. A credit/debit card or cash must be presented at check-in (does not need to be the same card used to make the reservation). Please note we cannot take payment from a card prior to arrival without the card being present. In this event we can send an online invoice with a link to an online payment gateway so the reservation can be paid prior to arrival. Once booked, please contact the hotel for details. Please note groups of over 6 people cannot be accommodated. Our free onsite car park is ample to accommodate most of our guests however we are unable to guarantee a space.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Great location, friendly staff
Lovely room
Generally clean and comfortable. Very well situated for me. Good shower comfortable bed and pillows.
Dirty toilet brush, immediately replaced upon complaint with brush that was not actually dirty but discoloured. Brushes ne ed to be disinfected with bleach for hygiene as well as appearance reasons.
Would have liked plain yoghurt and free range eggs for breakfast.

Die Zimmer sind völlig in Ordnung und zweckmäßig für einen Städtetrip. Die Lage ist super. Es gibt im Hinterhof einen eigenen Parkplatz des Hotels. Mit der U-Bahn ist das Stadtzentrum entspannt zu erreichen. Im Umkreis des Hotels gibt es aber auch jede Menge Restaurants, Cafés und Bars, falls man abends nicht mehr in die Stadt fahren möchte.
Dass es einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz gibt, ist super. Allerdings ist die Gasse, die dorthin führt, extrem schmal und auch das Parken selbst nicht ganz einfach, sobald dort mehrere Autos stehen. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl.
I only had one breakfast and it was satisfactory.
We loved the Ambassador for our 2 night stay in Glasgow. It is situated in what is called the West End and has much to recommend the location. The rooms here are sufficiently large with room for luggage. This is important for us as we travel a long time. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with issues with parking our car, and advice on places to see. Glasgow gets a bad name for some reason, but personally I enjoyed it more than Edinburgh. The rooms are clean here, and the hotel is within easy walking distance to a wide variety of good diverse restaurants.
If there was anything negative about the hotel, it is the lack, or rather difficulty, of parking. There is a small car park area behind the hotel, but we were unable to use it due to the way others had haphazardly parked. We were given good advice by the staff on how on street parking works, so ultimately we were able for a low cost, to park in front of the hotel.
Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable and clean and perfect location for the west end. Thoroughly recommend this hotel there are no negatives at all.

Für uns war die Lage perfekt, da das Hotel ganz in der Nähe vom Studentenwohnheim Murano liegt und wir dort unsere Tochter im Auslandssemester besucht haben.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Das Zimmer war recht klein was uns aber wenig gestört hat.

The room is a bit small
The staff were lovely. So helpful. Location is fabulous. Right next to the botanic gardens, lots of walking trails and beauty all around. Rooms were really nice, very clean. MAKE sure you tell the front desk if you don't want someone in your room. There are no "do not disturb" signs in the room so I was taken aback when I came back on day one and noticed someone had been in my room. I asked about it and they added my name to the list of not entering my room.
Parking is a problem. They have a TINY lot out back, so if you can fit into a small alleyway then it can work ok. Street parking is paying, so definitely a tricky place. BUT if you can squeeze into the tiny lot in the back, it's free, which helps a LOT in this area. Overall a really good experience though.
