Nice People, Good Location, Facilties Management Needs Help
Pros:

Good location, valet staff excellent as was front desk

Cons:

My first room was down 6 stairs and in a corner. The first thing you saw was that the corner of the drapes had come off the rod. I asked for a different room because I have a knee surgery coming up and because the room looked rather sad and they were very nice to accommodate me. Our new room was much better. Unfortunately the outlet in the bathroom for the blow dryer did not work so we had to use an outlet in the bedroom. There were also visible stains on the mattress cover which had an ick factor. They were very nice when I asked them to change it, but when I got back to the room at the end of the day, they had not made the bed back up so I had to prompt them to do so. There was also no bath gel in the shower which they took care of, but I feel that in the past when I’ve stayed at the Westin things were in much better shape.

Pool war überfüllt mit Kindern und nicht 100% sauber. Aber es gibt 3 Becken, die jeweils unterschiedliche Temperaturen haben, sehr angenehm. Fitnessbereich aber gut ausgestattet.

Pros:

Vicinity to Conference venue and Old Port, and big desk in the room.

Cons:

It smells like body odour and farm yard/ hay. It is dated. I had to ask for a new room. The first room I was given (on floor 19) smelled like sweat, had room service items stacked next to my door (which were still there the next morning), and had hair in the shower and sink. It wasn’t clean. The second room was on floor 17, although the hallway smelled, my room was better. Generally not up to scratch for the Westin name and the price.

They first assigned me an older room with vinyl plank floor and old worn furniture. It was like a motel 6 room!!! When I complained they switched my room to a newer carpeted floor and updated room..

Pros:

We came with two small kids for a short weekend in the city and were looking for a central, clean comfortable place to stay in, and that is exactly what we got!
The hotel is whithin a walking distance from majour attractions, has a very nice swiming pool which the kids loved and a very nice gym!
