Nice central location, walking distance to a number of places. Great staff.
Just before lunch, they put wood in a BBQ right next to the pool, so it got very smokey for about 15 minutes by the pool. It may not be all the time but that was our experience.
Staff were sometimes hard to find to get a drink by the pool or inside.
Starting with the building, a classic one that used to be the city hospital, and after being abandoned for 10 years, was completely renovated and become the hotel. Gorgeous. The rooms, big and confortable, and tucked away from the central claustro, allowed us a perfect and silent night to recover. The pool, not very big but enough and with a great area surrounding it with grass and sun beds.
Finally, the breakfast and the staff, were always great and willing to please you!
Car park was a bit expensive, but we used the street and the city parking instead.
Adorámos a estadia! Um espaço histórico muito bonito, que alia charme e conforto. Ótima localização, pequeno-almoço delicioso e funcionários sempre simpáticos e atenciosos. Sentimo-nos muito bem acolhidos.
A sala Kids tem uma ótima proposta, mas poderia ser mais bem aproveitada. Durante a nossa estadia, o espaço estava praticamente vazio, com um grande insuflável desligado a ocupar quase toda a sala. Talvez fosse mais interessante substituí-lo por brinquedos e atividades que as crianças pudessem utilizar livremente ao longo do dia. Como o hotel dispõe de poucas opções de entretenimento infantil além da piscina, seria uma excelente alternativa para as famílias.

Restaurant food quality is very good. Service is also good. The hotel is immense - it was built as a hospital in the 19th century and has a huge atrium, now the central guest space with wide screen TV, grand piano and bar. The bedroom was huge, very spacious - all wood-paneled with the bathroom completely remote from the beds. Spa, other than treatments, is included in the price. The outside pool and lounging area is smallish but well maintained. The Spa swimming pool is small, the sauna not very hot but the Turkish bath, though small, is excellent. Bar prices are not cheap, but cheaper than you'd expect in a premium hotel.
It's all good. No complaints.
