Please note that the hotel is located on a pedestrian street and the car parking is 492 feet from the hotel, by foot, next to the Guimarães City Hall, in Rua do Condestável Nuno Álvares Pereira, a dead-end street parallel to the City Hall of Guimarães. Please inform security that you are accommodated at the Hotel da Oliveira.

Please note that parking costs 5 EUR per stay and payment is made at check-out.

Please note that traffic may be conditioned and there may be noise disturbances in the following dates:
- First Monday of August, Gualterianas Parties - Traffic is conditioned from 20:00 until 01:00.
- November 29, Pinheiro - Students traditional Festival - High probability of noise disturbances during the night.

Pros:

Staff are excellent couldn’t be more helpful

Cons:

The hotel is next to a bar that plays music until 02:30 and people clear by 03:00. If you are on the 2nd floor it’s okay, we moved to a first floor room and you may as well give in and have a beer

In pieno centro storico, molto confortevole e pulitissimo, staff molto cortese e disponibile. Seguire le indicazioni messe a disposizione per trovare il parcheggio, che non è vicinissimo ( circa 400 mt) ma convenzionato( 5€/giorno).
Colazione ottima. Purtroppo di notte le nostre finestre affacciavani su un vicolo che amplifica il rumore della movida

Hotel muito central, confortável e de bom gosto.
Atendimento óptimo, empregados muito simpáticos.

Cons:

O estacionamento encontra-se longe do hotel e não é muito simpático ter que percorrer esse percurso com a bagagem.

Pros:

The location was ideal in the centre of the old town, the room was spacious and well appointed.

Great location within walking distances to.major historic sites.
Pros:

Location, breakfast & able to walk to major histirucal sites such as Castle & Dukes Palace. Lots of restaurants, shops and garden nearby

Cons:

No pool and parking onsite but charged 5 Euro for arranged public parking for total stay regardless of number of days. Bed mattress not firm and rather small.

A lovely hotel, in a beautiful, historic old town.
Pros:

Very friendly welcome. It was even noted that it was my birthday and a plate of delicious little delicacies was placed in our room. This gesture was much appreciated.
The breakfasts were good and the room comfortable although quite dark.

Cons:

Music in the square went on very late so we had to close the window. AC was available.
