Cosy hotel with friendly staff.
Pros:

Spacious room; very friendly and helpful staff; dogs are welcome – even in the restaurant; good parking facilities. We booked the hotel as a stopover on our way to the north of England. Offering excellent value for money, the hotel comes highly recommended.

Excelent hotel with first class staff members and a good price.
Pros:

The staff (Sarah in Reception and Tom at breakfast) were excellent. Both were helpful, cheerful, friendly and perfect hosts. Thank you for a brilliant stay. Room was modern and clean and beds were modern and comfortable.

Friendly and comfortable. Meal options could be improved
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with homely finishing touches. Food was very well prepared and tasty.

Cons:

The staff seemed overstretched so, although working efficiently, the service at meals was painfully slow.
There was little choice for vegetarian/vegans and, sadly, fruit and vegetables hardly featured in the options.
The air freshener used in the bedrooms was far too strong.

Prima overnachting op fijne plek dicht bij de Kanaaltunnel.
Pros:

Lokatie, kamer, grote parkeergelegenheid, grote groengebied direkt voor het hotel. Huisdieren welkom. Niet al te uitgebreid maar lekker ontbijt.

Cons:

Het was een warme dag en de kamer was net iets te warm om goed te slapen, maar had behalve het raam geen airco.

Pros:

all nice and clean and near the channel tunnel

Cons:

there was no early breakfast (which we had paid for) and which you might expect, given that it is a place you might want to stay over if using the first LeShuttle service in the morning

Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis aber für uns diesmal zu laut
Pros:

Ich kenne das Hotel seit vielen Jahren und die Lage in Ashford in der Nähe von Dover und Folkstone ist eigentlich perfekt für den stop-over während der Reise von/nach England. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr ordentlich ausgestattet und alles war sehr sauber. Pub und Restaurant im Haus mit schönem Garten sind toll und das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Cons:

Es war diesmal ziemlich laut!
Der TV aus dem Zimmer über uns war lange und extrem gut zu hören, weil sehr laut.
Auf der Straße vor dem Haus war nachts eine Baustelle, laut und der Boden hat vibriert. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Aber das Personal hätte uns darauf hinweisen können oder uns ein Zimmer geben können, dass weiter weg von der Straße gewesen wäre. Das Hotel war wohl nicht ausgebucht. Es wäre möglich gewesen.

Essen ist fein, Zimmer sauber und groß

Cons:

Etwas hellhörig, wir hatten über uns ein Trampeltier, der lief die halbe Nacht auf und ab.
