Another great visit to the Conningbrook
Pros:

This is the 5th or 6th time we've visited and the staff, as usual couldn't be more helpful. Everyone is very professional and make you feel welcome, even when dealing with a very busy restaurant and extremely hot weather. It's an absolute pleasure to stay and from my wife and I's point of view it's a good place from which to explore Kent

Cons:

The price of alcohol - but that's the fault of the government!

Recent addition to the Comfort Inns group ( I think). Rooms fine but restaurant/ bar needs work
Pros:

Stayed in newly renovated junior suite. Comfortable and spacious . Staff very polite and helpful. Plenty of onsite parking and large outside seating area and gardens. Restaurant with pub style menu and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Comfortable seating in the bar restaurant area would be good. Currently has the feeling of a tired Spoons venue, lots of old dark brown furniture, definitely room for improvement.
Breakfast buffet could be improved as not at the same standard as other hotels in the Comfort Inns group. Cooked food was fine.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
Pros:

Arrived in wheelchair struggled to get up onto bricked area, Awkward & uncomfortable getting through small doorway, disabled toilet was too small, could not access garden from inside as too many steps, went outside to garden & had to have wheelchair carried through pathway to garden as too many steps again & obstacles, had to be helped through causing considerable amount of pain, will never go again, disgusting that in this day & age that they are not disabled friendly, just stick a disabled label on toilet door even though room is too small for wheelchairs and they think thats ok.

Disappointing. Needs a tighter stricter regime
Pros:

New bathroom and bed. Easy access to eurotunnel. Easy parking

Cons:

Filthy outside area. Plates food and glasses left uncleared for hours. Lack of ashtrays and existing ones overflowing. Lack of waste bins.
On both occasions over a matter 3 weeks tvs did not work in either rooms we were staying in.
Breakfast could be available earlier to accommodate customers waiting to catch early eurotunnel. No fans in rooms. Staff seem to have a lack of direction with no leadership
