Great location but hot room.
Pros:

Great location next to the river.

Decent bar which also makes a nice coffee during the day.

Good breakfast included, all was cooked well and a large choice on the menu.

Room was a good size and was clean.

Cons:

We stayed during a heat wave in a deluxe river view room, which was on the third floor. This was really hot with no air con in the room. There was a fan but all this did was blow hot air around. Being on the third floor the windows could only be opened slightly due to safety. This made for a very hot night.
Tea and coffee proceeded in the room but had to go to reception to ask for milk, nowhere to store this in the room.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

Lovely hotel in the centre of Sandwich. Would recommend

Cons:

The flower boxes outside the hotel were empty and would make the property look much better if they were full of flowers

Excellent valve, stunning location
Pros:

I have stopped at the hotel on a number of occasions, can't always get a room as fully booked which says alot about the place. Its rated as 3 * which I believe to be a fair rating however the staff are friendly and the restaurant/bar is excellent.

Cons:

Nothing bad to report,

Pleasant, traditional, English hotel in need of a little modernisation.
Pros:

A comfortable bed. There was a small balcony with a large french window opening out onto it. This provided some ventilation during the very hot weather (30 degrees C). Good size shower.
Pleasant dining room. Good breakfast. Wide menu choice for dinner, which was very tasty (Fried squid and Caesar's Salad) with a good wine list and plenty of choice of beers.

Cons:

No air conditioning which made sleeping difficult in 30+ degrees.
No lift makes life difficult if you have heavy bags to carry upstairs.
Car parking is very limited at the hotel.
Nearby public car park can be busy and result in a long walk from the hotel.
