Location was amazing, the rooms lovely but missing a few basics to make it more the ‘lux’ property it’s going for. Day staff were fantastic - they took the time to make recommendations about the area and really walked us through our questions generously.
The fridge didn’t work - it was 33 degrees outside and a fridge that ‘won’t cool your wine but will keep something a bit fresh’ is actually a broken fridge. Please don’t make excuses just take it out or fix it but I chose the property for its facilities as well as location - I (understandably) wanted cold drinking water and cold wine. The beds were way too small - a little bigger would have fit in the room. The table and chair set up meant you couldn’t easily access the safe, the fridge (which obviously we didn’t need to) and that part of the wardrobe. The sockets around the bed didn’t work properly. I had to plug in across the room - that’s a very basic issue that many hotels get wrong but is so easy to fix.

The central location made it so easy to walk around everywhere. Even though we were in a busy, touristy area, our room was quiet! The buffet breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious. And, all of the staff were very pleasant, kind and helpful.
We had no negatives regarding the hotel, other than the stairwells were a little dark. However, there is an elevator, so it was essentially a non issue. Again, we loved this hotel.
Comfortable, quiet hotel in the heart of Toulouse, just a few steps from the Place du Capitole. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Location couldn't be better. Toulouse is a fascinating and lively city, and if we return I'll definitely stay again at Le Grand Balcon.

Check out 11am, but it was ok. They kept our luggage and were very accommodating!
