Awful place
Pros:

Nothing!!!

Cons:

Having stayed at this hotel previously we knew not to expect much, however this time we actually checked out within an hour or so of arriving. The bathroom door handle was broken. The toilet was broken, the room was very dark and dingy. We lifted the duvet and you could see the springs poking out! There's no way we could have slept in that bed. We had paid for a late check out, which was refunded (only because we asked) and when we told the guy at the desk we were checking out because the room was below standard his reply was 'there's nothing I can do about that!'
We have messaged the property through here, and also emailed them.asking for a refundf but have had no reply

Nice hotel would happily stay here again 🙂
Pros:

Decent size room and Bathroom with a bath and shower. Lovely little balcony you can actually stand on with a view of the sea.

Cons:

The cups in the rooms were quite small, there was no conditioner (although there was soap and shampoo provided)
Unfortunately it states there is a bar but it was shut all the while we were there.

Pros:

The location was good for the sealife centre and main strip, parking around the hotel was free but parking spaces were tight.
Hotel Staff were pleasant. The swipe card to get in at night was useful. We received fresh towels each day and the bathroom was clean.
The price for two nights on a Bank Holiday weekend was reasonable.

Cons:

The hotel decor needs modernisation, the stairs to top floors are narrow and steep with small steps not good for people with mobility issues. The carpets on the stairs in places were loose and not attached to floor boards therefore a possible tripping hazard.

Hidden gem
Pros:

I’ve stayed there before and the rooms all have en suite / TV / drink making facilities and the bed is comfortable and in a quiet area.

Cons:

The lift has been out of action for some years and I had to lift a heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs.

Pros:

The location was perfect. As it was close enough for us to get to the beach.

Cons:

The room was tutty, smelly. And the bedding seemed like somebody has slept on them before and not being change. Honestly, it was not my choice. My wife booked it as there was no vacant snewhere else, but I would not spend another night in that hotel . They can do better, or if not, they need to close it down and refurbish them.

The hotel was a disaster. The family room was a disaster. The bed had protruding spring
Pros:

Close to the beach

Cons:

The hotel was a disaster. The family room was a disaster. The bed had protruding springs—it was impossible to sleep. The window had a single pane and was boarded up. Simply a disaster.
