I had a horrible experience from check in to check out. The room wasn't as fancy as I expected. I asked for a conjoint I had to settle for a couple doors down. The staff was RUDE. And it's crazy to pay that much at check in for each room. 1 of my keys deactivated in the MIDDLE of the night, guest services hung up on me 3 times. I requested several things that were not accommodated. Simple things like a luggage trolley, and robes

I’m not happy - I had to move hotels and the hotel was not comparable with the Omni

We stayed here because the Convention Center is just across the street. It was convenient and nice.
Pros:

The room was very quiet and comfortable. They had Valet parking. The hotel put a hold of $150/day for incidentals. Parking for the hotel was about $50/day in addition to the room charge.

Cons:

The restaurant only offered a buffet because of the Convention in town. The buffet was expensive and not very good. The hotel bar offered better options, cheaper, and tastier food. We left to find other places at mealtime. There are some eating places downtown. Also, there are many restaurants and fast food places a short driving distance from downtown.

Cons:

Front desk staff was apathetic when I let them know that my room was dirty. Also, the room was not ready when I arrived and they said that they would notify me when the room was ready and they never did.

Racially profiled
Pros:

I had a very bad experience with an employee at the pool. I believe I was racially profiled. I really didn't appreciate being treated the way I was. The bartender at the pool bar even apologized to my wife and kids personally, due to the fact that he saw the incident. This is incident happened with your employee that happened to be her last day working for Omni. She was a pool clerk or she aided with picking up towels at the pool. She was an older Caucasian lady with short blonde hair. If she wasn't already leaving, I would tell omni they will need to review her employment due to racial profiling. I'm a bit at a loss of words.
