Der Standort und Gebäude

Cons:

Für ein internationales Hotel gab es nur nationales. Frühstück kein Western Frühstück für ein Fünfsternehotel. Sollte das nicht so sein. Zudem hohe Sicherheit Kontrollen, wo es sehr nervig und unsinnig sind. Die Türe kurz aufmachen bevor man bei der Sicherheit Schranke rein fährt sin frei als ob man in 10 Sekunden was sieht, was im Auto ist. Das Personal denkt, dass die Gäste dumm sind und nicht wissen wie Aufzüge oder die Türen aufgehen, obwohl in Europa das selbstverständlich ist. Die Wasserhähne im Bad im Zimmer waren tief rot mit Algen besetzt für ein Fünfsternehotel nicht tragbar. Fugen im Bad waren verschimmelt. Fernseher im Zimmer funktioniert nicht. Der Poolbereich war sehr schmutzig ebenso das Wasser. Keine Erfrischungsgetränke zum selber Zapfen im Lobbybereich, was in dieser Stern Kategorie normalerweise normal sein sollte. Hätte ich diese Buchung nicht so günstig bekommen und die Hälfte mehr bezahlt ist das Hotel kein Gut Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Absolut nur wenn man 90 € die Nacht bezahlt geht es. Das Hotel ist wie ein drei Sterne Hotel in Deutschland.

Great stay with a little disappointed.
Pros:

The staff are amazing, they gave me free late check out and it’s really helpful so I don’t need to rush after my morning meetings.

Cons:

I think need to upgrade their TV to smart one, for 5 stars hotels kinda disappointed need to use my own laptop and connect it to TV for just watch Netflix. Even though they lend me HDMI cable, but still it’s kinda outdated tho.

A wonderful hotel. Great rooms facilities and staff.
Pros:

A very comfortable hotel with beautiful large rooms and lovely touches such as beautiful toiletries. Spa and pool also very nice.
Great location too and staff super friendly and helpful

wonderful stay
Pros:

I recently stayed at JW Marriott Medan and had a truly wonderful experience from arrival until departure. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, and every staff member I met was friendly, warm, and always willing to help.

The food was amazing with so many delicious options to choose from, making every meal enjoyable during my stay.

I would also like to give special appreciation to Puspa at the reception for being extremely helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. She made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. Special thanks as well to Feri at Marriott Café, who genuinely took great care of me and made me feel comfortable and valued as a guest.

Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding hospitality. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Medan.

Great stay
Pros:

After 3 weeks backpacking around this was a welcome stay. Unfortunately we arrived late so didn't get to use full facilities. We had some issues with room service but after going to reception it was sorted.
Breakfast was fantastic staff helpful

Cons:

Requested bag pick up at a certain time which didnt happen so struggled taking bags back down. Not a major issue but paying premium expect premium service.

Exceptional !
Pros:

I just love going to JW Marriott in Medan.
The people are excellent.
The service is excellent.
The rooms are very good for Indonesia.
I have stayed at the hotel multiple times, and each time I find the experience to be fantastic.

Cons:

Occasionally I find that the water in the shower lacks pressure. It depends on what room / level of floor you are on. But this is a minor issue !
