The short distance to CLT airport, convenience and safe environment.
Our air conditioner was making noise and made it hard to sleep. We arrived rather late and were leaving early the next day, so I did not report the problem.

Location was good, breakfast good, Inform that hotel was as being remodel.
Shower was cold at night and again in the morning. No current phone chargers for new phones in room, no charging stations.

I reserved an assisted room with a walk-in shower and two queen beds.At first I was given an assisted room with shower tub- I refused. Second I had a room with roll in shower but one bed. I was told no other was available.
Clean, comfortable room. Delicious, hot American breakfast. Staff kept area very clean.
Unexpected parking charge.
I chose this Hampton due to the location of the close proximity to the Charlotte Airport. It does sit just outside the airport and made for a quick 10 minute drive to rental car returns.
Upon check in I had to repeatedly get the attention of the check in attendant who was more worried about whatever was on his phone than helping me check in. My biggest complaint was that I had to pay for parking at this hotel. I just received my eReceipt and my bill for overnight parking was $15.50. No other Hampton has charged me for parking unless it was in an inner city and used a shared parking ramp. This was a standard flat lot parking lot. I would NOT recommend this hotel considering I was already paying $157 for the room. Very very disappointed.

This hotel was super clean with comfy beds. Very convenient to all things Charollette, right off beltway!! Our experience was definitely made better by Theresa Cham, operations manager. She was the bomb!! Professional, timely and informative with a smile. Thank you Theresa for everything, especially the Smoke pit recommendation, that is some excellent BBQ. thanks for great stay.
Everything was great.
Room was good. Free airport shuttle. The driver gave more information than the front desk. If I knew that I would have had a better conversation with him and tipped him more. Wifi was working well.
The front desk person was so unfriendly and unhelpful. I had to ask him why I am being charged more, where I would find certain things, and so on. Usually people just tell you the basics which I guess I am taking for granted these days.
There's no restaurant/bar inside the hotel although advertised as such. Had to go to the one next door. I specifically booked this one for having everything because I was traveling alone and I had some annoying flight delays to deal with.
Location is a bit sketchy.
