Convenient location
The location for breakfast was out of the building. It could be perfect in the same building but ok though. Hot or cooked meals were warm enough. Options were available which was good. Staff were very nice and polite. Service was perfect. The resort in general is in a a very nice place, stunning environment and proximity to town center was great. Lovely place to lodge.
Bedsheet felt like paper and too warm. Couldn't access the jacuzzi tub on 3 occasions which was a very disappointment because we chose this hotel because of the jacuzzi so not able to use it was a great disappointment. We also tried to access the cinema but were told sound was not working. Another disappointment. Hope these would be sorted because we would love to come back.
Location and friendly staff. Comfy bed.
The banging noise when people used the stairs. Very loud. Lacj of Fridge in room.
Great location . Grounds well
Maintained and hotel clean . Moo
Bedroom very small and bedding had a musty smell presume. No nice outdoor drinking/ eating area. No water in bedroom and room badly outdated
Lovely location
Rooms dated
We didn't stay at the Morlich because the dining room was reserved for coach parties. We were told we would have to walk to the nearby Highlands Hotel for breakfast.
We got them to transfer us ti the Highlands Hotel which was ok
Check in
The room itself was ok but was possibly in the worst position in the hotel, right beside the lift and doors to the stairs which meant a lot of noise during the late and early hours - not great for trying to sleep.
Big comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, no noise during night and a good breakfast.
The music - every track sounds the same. Designed to be inoffensive but dull and boring (and I like a bit of jazz!).
Very expensive budget hotel. Felt like second class guests to others as the bar and restaurant in our hotel were not being manned, they said due to low guest numbers, so were a few mins walk to the sister( and thats without mobility issues) in the pouring rain.
Pool facilities have impressive medical equipment like spinal boards etc. I thought that was overkill untill I realised how slippy pool area is.
Never again, regret not going to Columbridge.
