The location of the hotel to a great variety of good restaurants within walking distance makes the hotel special. Also, the proximity to downtown Richmond facilitates transportation to areas of interest. Finally, the breadth of breakfast items should please all looking for repast.

Walking distance to mall, other shops and restaurants. Close to where my mother and relatives lived.

I had a very positive experience during my stay. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

The only issue I encountered was at check-in. Although check-in begins after 4:00 p.m., we did not arrive until approximately 5:30 p.m., and our room was not available until 6:45 p.m. While this was an inconvenience, the staff handled the situation professionally.

The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations and offered a good variety of options. An omelet station would have been a great addition and would have further enhanced the breakfast experience.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to return. This hotel will be my preferred choice for future overnight visits to Richmond.

The location was excellent and perfect for shopping, which was the highlight of our stay. However, the room was much smaller than it appeared on the website. We had four people in our group, and the space felt very cramped. Additionally, the bathroom door did not have a lock, which made it inconvenient and offered very little privacy.

Clean hotel right at Short Pump Town Center. Friendly staff with a nice room and an overall good experience with a decent price. Go somewhere else for breakfast.

I booked two rooms through booking.com to arrive to the hotel for them to tell me that it was sold out

Title says it all. Hotel was just lacking overall, nothing major was wrong, just could have been a little cleaner, a few more employees available to help and the room could have been in better shape. We had to change rooms because of a broken bathroom door and the second room also had an issue with the bathroom door. They also have to do something about the overwhelming scent that permeates the whole hotel. It was particularly egregious near the dining area. I don't know if it was an air freshener or what. We've stayed at other Hyatt House hotels and this one was not as good as the other.

We like this hotel and have been there several times, and we liked the renovations that were recently made. However, safety in the bathrooms was not addressed. Safety bars are simple protection measures, especially for seniors who do not require disabled rooms but can use extra support. We usually stay in the corner suite and these showers are large so safety grab bars would be useful there and will enhance safety and help prevent falls.

Friendly staff, clean and great breakfast. My definite go to when I visit Richmond. The check out manger is always with a smile and helpful.

This hotel has a great location in a mall complex. It is close to shopping and restaurants. Parking is easy. The hotel lobby and bar area are very beautiful and inviting. There is an outside area that also looked beautiful and relaxing, but it rained every day we were there so we did not go out. It was quiet in our room and lively in the bar area as it should be. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and very clean.

The location , staff and everything was great. I have nothing to complain.

The bartender, Shari, is worth staying here. She knows her stuff, is friendly, welcoming, funny and kind. A++ employee. The hotel is clean, room was nice with full size fridge, microwave, apartment size stove and dishwasher. HVAC leaves something to be desired. If you raise the temp, not only does a/c go off, heat comes on! Weird. Even w thermostat off it came on
