Friendly staff, clean and great breakfast. My definite go to when I visit Richmond. The check out manger is always with a smile and helpful.
This hotel has a great location in a mall complex. It is close to shopping and restaurants. Parking is easy. The hotel lobby and bar area are very beautiful and inviting. There is an outside area that also looked beautiful and relaxing, but it rained every day we were there so we did not go out. It was quiet in our room and lively in the bar area as it should be. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very large and very clean.

The bartender, Shari, is worth staying here. She knows her stuff, is friendly, welcoming, funny and kind. A++ employee. The hotel is clean, room was nice with full size fridge, microwave, apartment size stove and dishwasher. HVAC leaves something to be desired. If you raise the temp, not only does a/c go off, heat comes on! Weird. Even w thermostat off it came on
Excellent location. There is a great mall and many restaurants nearby. We went to Lehja - Indian Food. It was exceptional!

Location
I stayed in a corner suite and it was very spacious. It was also very clean and provided everything one could need. The bathroom was also huge and well appointed.
This is really not fault on the hotel's part, but the facility was under construction while I was there. The management did everything possible to minimize the interruption, but there was still the inconvenience of having only one elevator for guest use. This will not be a forever thing though.
Some Reno has been done but at some point eliminated cook to order breakfast. Only one elevator operating. Only Hyatt House I know that doesn't offer. Embassy in Henrico offers one and an evening social.
Great hotel ! Would recommend highly Staff friendly room clean easy to find. Everything was exceptionally clean and well kept. Lobby was bright and inviting
This was our 4th stay at the Hyatt House Short Pump and we had a great stay. The location is wonderful and the room is very comfortable for our family. We enjoy the kitchenette and the extra space in the room. The only downside is the elevator service. One of the elevators always seems to be out of service and this is a busy hotel so we just opted to take the stairs. We will still come back again because overall the hotel is worth it!
We were there for a teen soccer tournament. And the hotel was in great shape being it was just renovated. Continental breakfast had everything you need. And the location being adjacent to a mall with restaurants was so convenient. I would stay again.

Hyatt House is under construction. We were not notified of this prior to our arrival at the hotel. Understandable for the hotel to be under construction, however unacceptable to have no knowledge of this prior to arrival at the hotel. The room was "clean," windows had handprints, something spilled on one of the walls, overall... just not a quality clean. The shower is wide open & large. This is lovely for an adult. As a mom on a solo trip with 2 young children, giving them a shower was virtually impossible with this set up. The mirror leaned against the wall as decor was also challenging for a mom with 2 young children. Overall, very unimpressed with this hotel and the price.
Convenient location adjacent to the mall at Short Pump. The hotel was under construction while we were there, which was obvious and one of the elevators was out of service. However, our room was newly renovated (King suite) and was much nicer than I would have expected, particularly for the cost. Would definitely stay again.
