The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. The massive grounds of the estate were impressive.
There were a few maintenance issues that took a while to address. It was difficult to get a late lunch when the pool bar was closed but we did eventually get something to eat.
Excellente situation dans un petit village très tranquille au-dessus d'Arona ( au bord du lac majeur ) - belles chambres bien équipées dans un manoir du 19ème siècle - grande piscine avec transats - personnel très aimable - buffet varié et de qualité pour le petit-déjeuner qui peut être pris en intérieur ou en terrasse ( très agréable ) - grand parking extérieur gratuit et choix d'un parking intérieur payant ( 15 EUR/jour )

Really disappointed that the pool hours were truncated, both in evenings and then one day when it rained for a couple hours in the morning. We chose the hotel especially for the pool and could not use it most of the hours we anticipated - ie after returning from travelling and sightseeing, before breakfast because it only opened at 10am, after 6pm, etc.
