Love and enjoy the boutique castle feel.

Room, location and service

Cons:

Food. Dined twice, first night 5 courses and second night 2 courses. The starter dishes are all great but main entrees needs improvement.

Such a beautiful castle and so happy we made it a part of our stay in Ireland!

Loved the castle, property and dogs!

Cons:

Some staff were excellent and some didn’t seem overly happy. We received our breakfast well after our friends arrived and were finished - not sure what happened there and not a big deal just worth mentioning.

Overall it was amazing

It was a gorgeous property and the check in staff were great

Cons:

We ate in the bar and the staff seemed really stressed and like we were an inconvenience. I’m sure it’s because it was a busy day but that shouldn’t have mattered. But then at breakfast the next day it was the same. The gentleman that seated us was very kind and apologized for our wait and got us in as quick as possible. He explained everyone came at once and there was a wedding party so it was very busy but once again the wait staff acted so put out.

Pros:

Everything about this Castle was amazing, probably the nicest place I have stayed for every reason you asked. It all started with Doreen at the bar and just got better. I will most definitely sing all your praises and if/when I return to Ireland I will book this beautiful place again.

Pros:

Large suite. Good dinner. Great breakfast. Area to walk around outside was nice.

Cons:

Some furnishings in public spaces were tired. Very sweet dogs but smelly. 😘 fixed price dinner deserts were the disappointment of an otherwise good meal.

Pros:

Grounds were beautiful, our room was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Dinner was very good as was the full breakfast (breakfast is included in your room rate) staff was courteous and helpful

We stayed in a very spacious room within the lodge but enjoyed all of the amenities in the castle such as the restaurant and bar.

Would definitely recommend!
Pros:

Tranquil, calming and everyone was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and large enough to all gather in to play cards and talk before turning in for the night. We went to the five course dinner, which exceeded our expectations! Best of all were the dogs on the property! So friendly! We had several pictures taken with them before we left!

Cons:

No disappointment. Everything was wonderful.
