Cons:

Breakfast and lunch, poor quality food and rushed service, seems short staffed, staff have little time to show any real care for guests. A very average stay, and doesnt do any justice to its history. Rooms very warm no AC.

Schöne geräumige Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung in der Lodge. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Besondere Lage mit großem Park.

Decent place to stay for the money. Just be aware it's not a real castle more of a Victorian mansion
Pros:

We stayed in the guest house not the actual "castle". Had a mini-horse and donkeys for petting, and 2 irish wolfhounds. Food was good.

A great hotel with a lot of history, nature and romance. It was an unforgettable stay!
Pros:

It was a great experience to sleep in a castle like this. The surroundings are just lovely and there are four lovely dogs running around the premises. The food was really good and the staff really friendly and helpful. We good wander around to take pictures and the staff can tell you a lot of interesting stories about the castle and people that visited or lived there. All in all, it was a lovely and unforgettable stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we stayed there during the insane heat wave and the rooms weren‘t really equipped to deal with this kind of heat, so it was very warm.

Come nelle favole!
Pros:

Ho soggiornato in questo castello con la mia famiglia. L’atmosfera è molto romantica e sembra di vivere in una favola. Peccato che la nostra camera era fuori dalla struttura principale. Raggiungibile in due minuti a piedi. Colazione molto buona compresa nel prezzo. Abbiamo aggiunto la cena nel ristorante centrale, qualità alta il prezzo di conseguenza. Parcheggio gratuito in loco. Consigliato!

Darei una tinteggiata alle mura esterne.

Anything but coffee/tea (I.e. an Americano) was an up charge. That’s insane after paying so much for a room.
