Pros:

Lovely hotel and ideally placed for exploring the area. Very pleasant and helpful staff, the room was lovely and clean and the food was exceptional. Will definitely return!

Great bathroom great walkin shower top quality toiletries really comfortable bed the room modern and comfortable.Nice dinning room terrific breakfast.

Great amenities. Poor service. Not worth the price.

The rooms were lovely. They were spacious and very clean. The location was perfect with the high street just on the door.

Cons:

I would stay again for the location and amenities. However, I think it was overpriced. For the amount we paid for one night, I would expect much better service. The staff weren’t rude but they weren’t polite. When checking in, we weren’t told any information about breakfast and nobody even said ‘enjoy your stay’. Similarly, upon checking out, we were told ‘all done’ and that was it. Nobody asked if we had enjoyed our stay. Equally, only after having breakfast did we note that we had an allowance for breakfast that was higher than the cost of two breakfasts. None of the staff, after clearing our plates, asked if we wanted anything else or even asked how our breakfast was. The breakfast itself was also sub-par. It all tasted very shop bought. Again, for the amount we paid, I would have expected better. Overall, for the amount we paid, I would have expected a much better experience. I was celebrating my birthday and wouldn’t choose to stay here for a celebration in the future.

A wonderful, comfortable stay
Pros:

Excellent location, convenient parking to rear. Good sized bedroom with huge bed! All staff were friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Cons:

The room we had was a bit of a trek from reception… in a heatwave! Air con needed in the rooms as they were VERY hot but it was a heatwave so not really the hotels fault!
