Excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly
Nothing to complain about
Excellent location, good food, comfortable room
Breakfast was nice. Had a full English.
Location was in centre of town
Would of like air con. Was a very hot night.
Staff were lovely and most helpful
The heat in the rooms was unbearable and because the window was open it was very noisy
Car park charges differed if you booked through booking.com they were a lot dearer £12.00 instead of £6
Location was excellent...staff friendly and very helpful
Should have asked on booking if there was a lift available as problem climbing stairs and was in room 11...staff were happy to carry suitcases up to room but obviously would have preferred something more accessible
Great food clean rooms and very pleasant staff

The staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also reasonable. The central town location was handy and wasn't too noisy between 10pm-7am.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend staying here, however, as it was expensive and the hotel itself isn't up to scratch and is a bit dated. The bed was exceptionally soft and uncomfortable - not what you need after a long day's walk. Despite the main downstairs area of the hotel having aircon, the rooms didnt and they were unbearably hot (even at night with all the windows open when it was around 10-15 degrees outside). They allow dogs, so if you're unlucky like we were, you could be woken up by barking in the early hours. Breakfast isn't served until 7.30am, so not ideal if you want an early start for a walk. Lastly, be warned - the parking is not free (£7-12 per day), and you're also not guaranteed a spot! We had to park on the other side of town at one point because there were no spaces left.
Amazing location.
Excellent service and facilities. Super clean, spacious, modern. Friendly staff and great service
Breakfast buffet could have more options

Great breakfast room quite à long walk from réception but very nice
Hot water in sink in bathroom very slow to come throighen
Had breakfast in the conservatory as we had brought our dog along for the trip. Enjoyed watching the world pass by as we enjoyed our breakfast in peace and quiet whereas the restaurant area reserved for guests without hounds was much busier. Great location.
Everything was good here.
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay here. From the moment we were welcomed by Alandi at reception, we felt right at home. She was exceptional throughout our stay and couldn't do enough to help us.
All of the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The hotel exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money.
Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice from the hot menu as well as an extensive selection of continental options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended and we will not book anywhere else within Keswick now!
