Ein wunderschöner entspannter Urlaub
Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück! Vor allem der tolle Filterkaffee ☕️!!!! Große Auswahl, für jeden etwas dabei.

Cons:

Schwarzbrot oder Vollkornbrot wäre toll gewesen.

Katharina ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert.
Pros:

Personal besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit. Anlage extrem sauber. Verpflegung sehr gut.

Cons:

Zu kleine Dusche und zuwenig Steckdosen. Das kann auch die Bemühung und zur Verfügungstellung einer mehrfach Steckleiste nicht ausgleichen.

Durch die vielen Möwen ist die Insel einfach nicht mehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf die Altstadt von Rovinj ist Einzigartig, die Lage der Anlage auf der Insel ist optinal.

Cons:

Wir machen jetzt schon viele Male auf Katarina Urlaub, doch jetzt fahren wir dann nicht mehr hin. Das große Problem sind die Möwen, diese werden von Jahr zu Jahr mehr. Die Möwen brüten überall, auch direkt neben den Gehwegen und den Liegewiesen und verhalten sich sehr agressiv in dieser Zeit. Ein Freund von uns ist während seines Spazierganges mit dem Enkelkind im Kinderwagen von einer Möwe am Kopf verletzt worden und hat eine blutende Wunde dabei erlitten. Ich selbst bin bei einem Spaziergang rund um die Insel direkt am Weg auf 1 Möwe mit 2 Jungen gestoßen, die Möwe ist sofort mehrere Male sehr aggressiv auf mich zugeflogen. Wenn ich nicht einen Holzstecken zur Abwehr gehabt hätte, wäre ich möglicherweise auch verletzt worden. Essen im Freien ist nahezu unmöglich, da die Möwen bis auf den Tisch fliegen um Essen zu stehlen. Das nächste Problem mit den Möwen ist der Lärm der sich auch durch die ganze Nacht zieht und die Verschmutzungen auf allen Wegen und auch den Parkbänken. Wenn man gegen die vielen Möwen nicht endlich etwas unternimmt (spezielles Futter zur Unfruchtbarmachung oder ähnliches) werden immer weniger Gäste auf die schöne Insel kommen.
Am Schluss muss ich noch sagen, dass die Öffnungszeiten vom Kiosk am Strand von 10:00 - 15:00 und am Strandrestaurant von 12.00 - 16:00 Uhr viel zu kurz sind.

Splendida isola che garantisce relax assoluto
Pros:

Questa struttura si trova su un’isola di fronte al centro storico di Rovigno, con vista sull’iconico campanile. Ci si arriva con comodo traghetto, gratuito per gli ospiti dell’hotel, che parte ogni ora collegando l’isola con la reception in terraferma e il centro storico. L’albergo è confortevole, buona la cucina è ottima la pulizia. All’esterno delle belle piscine oltre a una spiaggia attrezzata, splendido il cammino che percorre il perimetro di tutta l’isola permettendo di raggiungere scogliere, calette, boschi e punti panoramici. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile.

Pros:

Boat transfer (free for the hotel guests) gives you an extra experience. Island is small, but accessible. Good for the off-season period, when you do not expect to swim because the beach is very limited... ideal for walking / jogging.

Cons:

Hotel Istra (island Sveti Andrija) offers amazing 4-stars service and the price is just a little higher... I was disappointed for paying almost the same price here in Hotel Katarina (island Sveta Katarina) and geting such a different / lower service... The hotels belong to the same company. Never more Katarina, but Hotel Istra definitely YES.
