Location was very good
Mattress was horrible. Needed to be replaced
Convenient to Hospital. Fairly well clean and comfortable.
Having to pay for parking and not having more handicap spaces for the handicap people to park at the Hotel.
My room was very nice and had a lot of space
It was a little further than I expected it to be from why I was there, but other than that it was a nice stay & my Uber drivers were awesome.
The staff was fantastic! Always cheerful, helpful, and welcoming
The rooms need updating. The carpet in our room was sticky, our fridge was not level and rattled so loudly that we had to turn it off, the desk was rickety and seemed about to fall apart
The friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever consistently encountered. Everyone was welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The location was great, and our room was very clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cold, which we loved. The bed was super comfortable and spotless, but honestly the standout for me was the shower water pressure — SO nice.
One thing that really stood out to me was overhearing a team huddle in the lobby while I was drinking coffee. It was clear the staff genuinely cares about creating a better experience for guests and is actively working on improving anything that may fall short. Seeing that level of intentionality and teamwork honestly made me appreciate the stay even more.
Breakfast was decent with lots of options, and I really enjoyed the variety of toppings available. The only downside was the elevator, which felt a little sketchy at times… but we didn’t mind taking the stairs instead. Carpet and sofas had some very worn and stained areas. Overall, we had a really great stay and would definitely come back.

Very satisfied!
Everything was great!
We didn't have e breakfast..
Paying for parking every time you leave the deck.
The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The rooms were nice, very clean and the bed was comfortable. We did not have breakfast as we left too early every morning. The location was very close to the Kirklin Clinic/UAB where we had multiple appointments that spanned 3 days. We were within walking distance to both.
We have stayed at Springhill Suites multiple times and on two of those occasions the elevator/s were not working correctly. During our first stay, only one of the elevators worked, but during this last stay neither elevator worked. Thankfully, we were only on the second floor so walking up/down the stairs were not too bad. But I really felt bad for the guests staying on higher floors. Employees were having to take the guests' luggage to their rooms for them.
