It's fine if you just need a place to sleep & stash your stuff.
Pros:

The valet staff were unerringly friendly & cheerful. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The little loveseat & ottoman in the corner of the room were cute & comfy. It was fine for one person needing a place to work away from the distractions of home. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.

Cons:

I wasn't given any instructions for accessing the wi-fi when I checked in, nor were there any instructions in the room. I tried to log in to the "guest" wi-fi, but only got an error message, so I had to use the "public" wi-fi rather than the "guest" wi-fi. One of the elevators was stuck on the 8th floor for the entirety of my visit. The shower was dingy & there was some grime around the bottom of the door frame. And it's not important, but the carpet was really ugly. Overall, it was fine, but I'm not likely to stay again, nor to recommend it to out-of-town visitor when there are other options in the same price range within walking distance.

This fell a little short of my expectations for a courtyard Mariott, but everything was clean and it met our needs.
Pros:

Great location, clean room.

Cons:

The decor was uninspiring and the room was pretty dark and cramped, with our one window facing a brick wall. This is of an older building, but it felt more like a mediocre hotel than a Courtyard.

Pros:

The room was awesome! It was clean and very spacious. Great for young kids to move around. The location was pretty central in downtown and was easy to walk around.

Cons:

We were very disappointed by the parking options. Valet costs $52 per night. There is public parking right next to the hotel (short block walk) which is $18 but has horrible security. We chose to park in the public parking and on our last night, the driver side window was completely busted on our rental. The security guard that's there just says it happens all the time. It's not the Courtyard's fault, but paying $52 extra per night just to SAFELY park your car is too much.

Could be ok place if your not driving.
Pros:

I left and didn't stay there. Its Vaile parking and I was in a rental. I had evening plans and would need the car after I got ready. There was a parking facility across the street but that would mean bringing my luggage across a Downtown street. This may have been ok if I wasn't driving. It wasn't for me.

Cons:

No parking lot for the hotel.

Easy walking access, and one block from bus/max lines in town
Pros:

My coffee maker died, and within 20 mins of notifying the front desk, they had checked it out, agreed it was dead, had a new one to my room, & stayed until verified it worked. YAY!

Quiet, predictable, peaceful luxury
Pros:

Beds are firm but comfortable. Laundry room was small w/few machines but machines were inexpensive & SUPER EFFICIENT (one dryer in particular cost $1 for 60 minutes & even on medium-low settings it THOROUGHLY dried everything in my load). Desk staff was very accommodating & the in-house restaurant/bar was good (drinks were outstanding, food was okay American). There are so many other restaurants nearby to eat at, but not so many bars that are really nice to drink in without loud annoying drunks, & scammers or homeless bugging you. It’s nice to feel safe just having a few without watching your back.

Cons:

I can’t think of anything.
