Portland city is not for me. I came here with an expectation and I was blown away from what the city really was. I enjoy

The bed was comfortable. That’s it.

Cons:

Almost everything. Let’s start up at the bathroom/shower. The shower head was leaking, there was no hair conditioner and no body wash.
Now, the property had no parking. We had to pay for valet(I didn’t(About $55)
“Breakfast” from 0700-1200hrs. Where? I didn’t see it.

Centrally located in Downtown Portland
Pros:

The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming from the time I arrived to the time I left. The hotel was within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Amtrak train station. Best of all, the nightly rate for my room was surprisingly affordable. I have stayed at the Marriott's other locations in the past, and I plan to do so again when I visit Portland next time.

Cons:

Though it looked like my room had been cleaned, I still found strands of long hair on the bathroom floors and bath tub. Not sure if this were overlooked by the housekeeping staff.

Great for a short weekend break in Portland
Pros:

Great, cost efficient hotel in downtown Portland, just south of Chinatown and close to many of the main sights and attractions within the city centre. My room was spacious with a nice view, coffee machine and a shower with good pressure. Comfortable bed which let me pass out in minutes of getting under the blankets.

Cons:

Only minor gripes. Don’t count on an early night because the hotel is near a light rail line and whilst the service is running, the bells sound at the nearby stop.
