Pros:

It is an old hotel so the furniture is also bit old, but well maintained and everything is very clean. The host is very lovely and kind - you don't come across so welcoming and home-like feeling very often, especially in hotel. The breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choice. They even made scrambled eggs for us upon request. There is a beautiful garden behind hotel where you can sit and chill - take a bottle of good wine and just enjoy the moment :)

Bologna is cca 1h drive away and there is many other attractions to visit in the area.

!!When visiting Bologna city centre, read about its ZTL zone!!:

Or ask the host. There is 90€ fine if you enter ZTL zone without permit.

I highly recommend this hotel!

Cons:

Shower in our room was really small. Maybe big enough for the child. Shower base is 50cmx50cm with the shower curtain. It is quite difficult to shower for adult without getting whole bathroom wet. Maybe that is why you don't see it in the room pictures ;)

I was also missing AC, but it is in the description of the room. I was well aware of that when I booked , I just want to point it out. People tend to read more negative comments than description :)

This didn't ruin our stay in any way it is just something I thought worth mentioning for the future quests.
