Nothing except location.
Booked rooms with breakfast and dinner. During check out, hotel demanded extra money for dinner stating that there is cap of 1500MUR. It was never stated in booking confirmation or voucher.
I liked that it's a combination of several good things. The area, the availability of venues, the availability of activities, the service, and the size of the room all jointly shaped my experience of staying at the hotel.
I think in the spa area, certain rooms could have been maintained a tiny tad better. The ceiling in the steam room needed better cleaning. But that was really the only thing that was a minus for me. Not a big deal.
Apart from location, nothing.
1. Poor service.
2. Rooms are very poorly lighted.
3. No slippers, no towels put after room was cleaned.
4. Some of the Staff is arrogant.
5. If any amendment is made to fully paid reservation, hotel will not refund any money back in case you vacate early even due to genuine reason.
6. You stay extra for an hour, they will charge you for full / half day extra.
7. There are hardly any options for Vegetarian people in food. Inspite of booking in advance and conveying food preferences well in advance, nothing is done.
Overall a very bad experience and wont prefer to come again. Thanks.
I think the only good things about it are:
- That it's centrally located. I had business meetings within walking distance.
- The sushi restaurant downstairs: the sushi is good, and the service is good,
but otherwise this hotel needs a major upgrade.
There are a number of things that are not working well in this hotel:
- I arrived early evening, and there was no porter to help with my bags. Only the receptionist downstairs, and he couldn't help because he says he can't leave the reception because no one else was there. I needed to go up to my room, use my bags, and jump into a meeting so I ended up hauling all my luggage upstairs myself.
- It is mouldy.
- The paint is chipping everywhere. It's chipping in the shower floor, so you come out of the shower with paint chips on your feet. It was chipping in the ceiling of the sauna on the first floor.
- The corridors smell terrible.
- The room smells very musty and mouldy. It's almost as if there were ten contractors having a caucus in the room after a long day of working in the sun.
- The plates downstairs at the breakfast are dirty. I have flipped through probably about 15 plates before I found a clean one that I could use.
- The lighting in the room is a bit poor in the evening when you want to work. Lots of mood lighting instead of practical lighting for a business hotel.

L’accueil, la situation géographique, l’hôtel et ses services ainsi que la suite étaient tout simplement fabuleux. Pour un hôtel d’affaires, l’hôtel a accueilli notre famille à merveille, lit bébé confort et chaise bébé à chaque repas. Ça a été un plaisir!
Peu insonorisé, et quartier anime la nuit, pouvant déranger.

The junior suite smelled musty. There was no hot water the whole week, just luke warm. The bathroom was dated with cracked sinks. Limited breakfast options.
