Pros:

Really lovely hotel, great location a few moments from
Notre Dame but very quiet. They also upgraded us which was nice

Splendid little hotel in fantastic location - five stars!
Pros:

The 24/7 reception staff were charming (Merci Denis!). Excellent location, moments from restaurants (great for people-watching) and the River Seine. Notre Dame is only a few minutes across the river, but the Ile Saint-Louis area has character and doesn't feel particularly touristy. The room was compact (like all Paris hotel rooms) but perfect for a couple travelling with hand luggage. The bathroom was superb, great water pressure and good lighting. Although our room overlooked the street it was quiet. Thank goodness for aircon in this heatwave!

Cons:

Breakfast was a self-serve buffet - confusing as the food was set up in two separate areas in the cellar. Some help with the coffee machine would have been useful. Although the cellar was cool, the ceiling is low, no natural daylight (obviously!) so it felt claustrophobic.

Pros:

Room nicely decorated. Very good location. Felt safe in the area. Within walking distance to all the necessity and many popular area. Small fridge available in the room which is a big plus in summer. Not that close to the metro but walkable.

Cons:

The room is rather small for 2 people. No space for luggage.

Wonderful three days in I'le Saint-Louis
Pros:

The location, on I'le Saint-Louis, is excellent. This island is much quieter than just across the river in either direction, and calmer than I'le de la Cite. Still, there are plenty of restaurants and shops and it is easy to cross the river to see various attractions. We honestly felt like it was a little respite from the big city. The hotel staff were amazing - very attentive, professional, knowledgeable. Bed was comfortable, shower was good, AC worked well. Neighborhood is walkable, easy to cross the river to see attractions or take a train.

Cons:

Our room was quite small. While we managed with two carry-on bags and two backpacks, anything more would have been super challenging. Having said that, I think we booked the smallest room. We hope to stay here again and will pay attention to the options.

Pros:

very nice and helpful staff. great location and cool decor in old-fashioned-historical-modern manner. Quiet neighborhood in the evening, so very good sleep.

Cons:

The little fridge in room was dirty and a bit smelly (someone must have left something rotten during previous stay). There could be a bottle of water in the room upon arrival.

Pros:

My stay at Hotel Saint-Louis en l'Isle was absolutely wonderful. The hotel features a beautiful, authentic French decor with stunning historic details. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast with fresh viennoiserie was delicious. Located right in the heart of Île Saint-Louis, it's the perfect base to explore Le Marais, Notre-Dame, and other beautiful arrondissements. Highly recommended - I'll definitely come back!
