Great little 3 star hotel. The position is the best and staff very helpful. Like being a local in the community. Very few tourists here. Would stay again.

Pros:

Ubytování předčilo všechna naše očekávání. Pokoj byl menší, ale pohodlně zařízený. Personál byl naprosto úžasný – usměvavý, ochotný a vždy připravený pomoci s čímkoli. Snídaně byla výborná, bohatá a čerstvá. Lokalita ideální – klidné místo a přitom blízko všech zajímavostí. Určitě se sem vrátíme.

Eine perfekte Auszeit in Paris
Pros:

Es war alles perfekt. Allerdings hat mir das Hotel ein Upgrade gegeben, deshalb war ich ganz begeistert von meinem Zimmer.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Da fällt mir nichts ein.

Hotel Faulty Towers

Tres déçu ! Hotel à fuir. Book any where else on l'isle Saint Louis but here !

Cons:

Booked to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday in Paris. Total nightmare from start to finish. Fruit flies in the orange juice & an infestation of ants in the breakfast room in the basement (no windows, claustrophobic & very humid!). Dont take a rate with breakfast very poor quality (the café on the corner does an excellent spread for 40 euros ). Sound insulation inexistant we were woken up all through the night by slamming doors at 4am. And the cherry on the cake we were charged twice for the room. We booked and paid for 2 nights for 444 euros via booking and were charged an extra 256 euros by the staff on site who were very condescending & borderline rude. Beware the bottled water in your room is NOT complimentary. You have to declare it upon check out. Even when your room cost 700 euros !! Clearly youre paying for location only. Very disappointing if youre thinking of staying here for a special occassion dont.

The perfect location to experience the best of Paris.
Pros:

The location is perfect. The staff helpful. Love love loved the air conditioning especially during the summer heat wave (many places in France don’t have it). A true Parisian experience with great local cafes and able to walk to most attractions.

Cons:

As you can expect, Paris is an old city so the rooms are smaller but still space is wisely used. Many older buildings don’t have elevators. This one does, but it stops in between floors so you still need to use stairs (hand luggage is recommended).
