New Hotel République

A\C does not work in upper floor “Gabriel” rooms. Works in others but was still very warm sleeping during the heatwave. Rooms definitely look more polished in pics but comfy enough. Some mice spotted in breakfast area.

Tapijt op de grond, badkamer erg klein, waardoor alles nat, bed was voor 2 personen erg klein.

A/C was not working at 35 graus Celsius. When I book was free breakfast. When I get to the property breakfast not included. Room was not that clean .

Неприятным фактором стала работа кондиционера, он очень слабо работал и не мог охладить помещение до комфортной температуры, приходилось по ночам спать с открытыми окнами

Unfortunately, it's worth to highlight that the room was truly small, with a rather narrow bed, only a single bedside table, and no countertop or table to put things on. A kettle was provided, but it was hidden in the wardrobe, as there wasn't even room for it in the room. The toilet was in a separate room, and the shower (walk-in) and sink are on the other side of the room. The bathroom door is glass, so if you wanted some privacy, that wasn't an option. Furthermore, the staff was unhelpful. Due to the closure of the airport train line (temporary works), we booked a shuffle bus at reception to ensure a comfortable and reliable journey to the airport. Unfortunately, 30 minutes before our scheduled departure, we were informed that the bus would not be picking us up due to a strike. We received no additional assistance and, under considerable stress, had to arrange alternative transportation ourselves. You can store your luggage after check-out, but it's all stacked together in a common area, so I didn't feel it was safe. It's also worth noting that the hotel has two buildings. The second one isn't exactly what's advertised in the photos and is of a lower standard.

Il bagno era buio e con luci fulminate. L’aria condizionata non funzionava bene, cosa particolarmente problematica considerando che abbiamo soggiornato durante il weekend di ondata di caldo. Inoltre mancavano il gel doccia e il sapone per le mani: lo abbiamo segnalato, ma non sono stati riforniti.

Ik had de hotelkamer iets groter verwacht, zelfde geldt voor de kledingkast en badkamer. Het is prima als je met 1-2 personen wil overnachten voor een 1 of 2 nachtjes. We hadden uitzicht op een soort binnenplaats.

The staff were absolutely terrible especially the night porter who was beyond unhelpful and rude. Air con didn’t work but no help with it. As a pregnant woman in the third trimester I would have expected some help when the lift didn’t work rather than being ignored.

They first gave us a room near the reception area which was really uncomfortable but they agreed to move us to a room in the upper floors.
We were requested to leave the key in the reception every time we went out of the hotel (not a card, an actual key)

Wir sind nicht das erste Mal in diesem Hotel, jedoch das erste Mal seitdem das Hotel von jemand neuem aufgekauft worden ist. Dabei sind uns einpaar Dinge aufgefallen, die wir nicht gut fanden:
- im Bad gab es nur Seife und keine Flüssigseife. Die Seife ist sehr unpraktisch wenn man sich diese zu zweit teilt.
- Man konnte in der Badewanne den Duschkopf nicht aufhängen sodass ein abduschen nicht möglich war
-der Fernseher hatte nur 3 deutsche TV-Sender und weder YouTube/Netflix noch sonstwas ging.
-das Internet war nicht wirklich stabil

The room could use some more structured space to hang clothes and/or travel appliances.
