Great location and cozy stay.
Pros:

Perfect location for our trip down. Easy access and the staff was friendly.

Cons:

The layout in the rooms was kinda wonky. And there was some of the wall paper in our bathroom that was peeled away and had some slight mold on it. It didn’t affect our stay in any way. We hadn't noticed the wall paper til the morning of our 2nd day when we moved the shower curtain. Little bummed that the breakfast was already being put away around 930am when we went down. All in all we would book again, we enjoyed our time. We loved the hot tub/pool area and the patio out back.

Good hotel
Pros:

Cleanliness

Cons:

I only stayed one night. A manager said they would only charge me for one night. I thanked the lady at the front desk and told her to thank her manager.
They charged me for two nights 🧐🙃

Water pressure was good. That’s about it.
Pros:

Had to go to Maple Grove last minute for work. Everywhere else was booked up so we ended up at Cambria. Room was dark. Shower and curtain mildewed. Door iffy. Floors dirty. Sofa stained. I survived- but wouldn’t stay again by choice.

Rooms need urgent upgrade
Pros:

I have always liked the rooms layout. The location is good.

Cons:

Roof leak marks on bedroom ceiling. Bathroom needs upgrade. Rooms need thorough cleaning, new paint, bedding, etc. It's just run down.

Disappointing
Pros:

We were disappointed with our stay. We booked a double queen room with a pullout sofa for our family of five, but there was no bedding provided for the sofa bed. We had to go to the front desk to get a sheet and blanket, and there wasn’t even a pillow.

The room was also stocked with only 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no extra roll, and there were only three bath towels for five guests. Our shower didn’t drain properly, which made using it unpleasant.

The complimentary breakfast was another letdown. There were very few options, and the quality of the food that was available was disappointing.

Overall, there were several basic hospitality details that were overlooked. We expected a much better experience from a Cambria Hotel.

Pros:

The settings of the room, I like how the living room is separate from bedroom, the lounge downstairs is nice needs a bar and pool area was nice. Really cool spot.

Cons:

I wanted to make my own waffles for breakfast and I didn't see any breakfast sausage or bananas was disappointed. And the hold of $200 upon arrival was a bit much and we didn't know that beforehand would if I didn't have it and we traveled from out of town for the holiday weekend. That's not cool, but I think it's a really nice place to stay overall. I think the location is good for the Healthcare industry though for families with hospital stays at North Memorial & Maple Grove clinics across the street. Sign a contract with them like the others.

very filthy and awful customer service.
Pros:

Let me start by saying that we are Diamond members and have already had over 30 nights in the Choice hotel brands. We arrived at this hotel about 915 pm on a Sunday evening. Check in went smooth and front desk was friendly. Got up to our room and when we opened the door and stepped in this awful smell (think wet dog or wet carpet) hit us and it was overwhelming. After setting our bags down, I went to turn on some lights and found crumbs by the bed and the couch was filthy. I called the front desk and asked them to move us and explained why. She asked us to come downstairs while she called her manager for permission. When we got downstairs the front desk said she had to go up and look at the room. There was another couple there at this point trying to get moved to a different room as well. Front desk came back down and said the manager wouldn't move us because the room "isn't that bad" and that she picked up the crumbs and the couch only had water stains, and the smell is just how rooms smell. She proceeded to tell me that these rooms are cleaned every day. I went back up to the room and into the bathroom to find hair on the toilet and someone else's swimsuit hanging on the shower. I again went downstairs and tried to explain that clearly these rooms don't get cleaned and showed her why. Still refused to move me. My friends' room was perfect and smelled so nice and clean so I know that this isn't "just how they smell". I had to go back downstairs a third time because we had no bedding for the pull out couch. In the elevator another individual was asking if I had issues with my room and explained to me that her room smelled so bad and the air was so bad she couldn't breathe so she was also asking to be moved. I even turned off the air conditioner for the night wondering if the smell was coming from that. In addition, there was no blanket on my bed, just the sheet and another very lightweight sheet (maybe the cover of a duvet) but no blanket. By the time morning rolled around, my asthma was flaring up from whatever was in the air that smelled so bad that we got up and left the hotel before 6 am. All this time, no manager on site but making decisions to not move customers from where ever they were located. I felt bad for the poor woman who had to deal with all the problems and have no authority to try and make things right for them. Lack of refusing to move me did not have anything to do with available rooms, the parking lot was very empty and it was a Sunday night.

They have boardgames you can rent at the front desk - thought that was neat!
Pros:

Clean, quiet, simple. I was here for work for a full week and loved how large and clean the room was , had a refrigerator, microwave, 2 TVs and a desk. The room was very clean, smelled great, comfortable bed. The couch in the room does have some staining but understandable as they are a very light grey color. Front desk was very pleasant as well as housekeeping staff! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay!

Worst ever!!
Pros:

Coffee and creamer from downstairs good.

Location...ok

Cons:

Breakfast...not enough choices. Eggs and sausage were not hot. Greek yogurt was runny.
Tvs weren't working for 3hrs. We were told the TVs were being worked on (in the whole building) and would be up back up soon.
Tub mat was filthy. Didn't use shower. Only 1 face cloth. Was told that was standard and we needed to call for more if needed.
Elevators smelled like wet dog.
No mattress protector. Thin fitted sheet that didn't cover the mattress. Lumpy mattress.
Filthy couch.
Refrigerator had thick ice at the back.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

If you're going to read a review - read this one.
Pros:

After reading through some of the reviews for Cambria, I honestly had to write my own because it seems like people have forgotten what a hotel stay actually is.

Some of these complaints are honestly unbelievable. The hotel is “going downhill”? Or has everyone just become more demanding, less patient, and less kind? Anything nowadays is an inconvenience - if you don't like it - STAY HOME.

Complaining about the flag? Seriously? Is the flag now a political issue? Are we really going to rate an entire business based on what flag they chose to display? A hotel stay should be judged by the service, cleanliness, comfort, and experience not something that has nothing to do with the quality of the room or the people working there.

Complaints about the pool being too small? It’s an indoor pool for goodness sake, not a luxury resort. I’m not sure what people expect them to do, pick up the building and expand it overnight?

And the breakfast complaints are my favorite. The breakfast is FREE. Free. Included with your stay. What exactly are people expecting — a five-star brunch with a chef waiting to prepare a custom meal? If that’s what you’re looking for, there are plenty of restaurants happy to take your money. But by the looks of it they'd probably find something to complain about there too.

What really bothers me about some of these reviews is not the complaints themselves — it’s the way some people choose to treat and direct themselves about the staff. People have become so comfortable being rude and disrespectful, even going as far as threatening to call ICE on employees simply because they assume someone's immigration status? What has this world come to? That is not a reflection of the hotel ... that is a reflection of the person making the threat. The people working at this hotel and any other establishment are human beings who deserve basic respect. You give some, you get some.

My personal experience at Cambria was nothing but positive. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. My TV wasn’t working, they came up and fixed it right away — turns out a cord had simply been unplugged. When I needed an iron to press my husband’s clothes, the staff didn’t hesitate and even brought a brand new one up to my room for me. Those little things matter and show the level of service they provide.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff has always been welcoming. Maybe some things have changed, but maybe peoples expectations and attitudes have changed even more. Just remember - treat others as you would like to be treated.

I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!!
