Voilà un hôtel recommandé.
Pros:

Chambre très propre, bien situé et calme, personnel toujours disponible et très sympathique.
Le petit déjeuner bien est bien servi. Le métro est bien situé

Old but clean business hotel. Far from subways. Not for elderly/those in poor walking health.
Pros:

Quiet part of town away from craziness of Shinjuku. Acess to Shinjuku Park & Tokyo LGTBQ area. Great breakfast buffet-the kind that used to be common in business hotels but seems hard to find now. Both Japanese and European type. Could open window a bit. Deep (small) tub. Good water pressure(you can't control) Laundry (in the parking lot). Small Grocery/pharmacy down the street.

Cons:

Far from subway/sights if you are a tourist- ok if you are a good/fast walker though. Not alot of food choices in the area but at least an 7-11 Konbini/Convience store nearby (excellent Japanese take-away) 😅. Taxi required if you have luggage. Toilets that make loud thunk every flush 😳 Will wake you when neighbors flush at nite and vice versa. Raised older style bathroom with tilted floor for drainage. So if you have balance/co-ordination issues you will have trouble there. Needs serious decor, slipper & robe updating.

Warm friendly staff, good location.

Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons:

Low ceilings and doors. Had to watch our heads, but we are over 6 foot.

Will definitely stay at the Hotel Listel Shinjuku should I return to Tokyo!
Pros:

The 7 11 that is located right outside made it super easy to get a quick meal/snack. I also like that the Hotel provide luggage storage before/after stay.

Cons:

I didn’t like the restaurant options near by.

I would recommend for a budget hotel. Very friendly
Pros:

The location was great, close to train stations but offers a little quiet with wonderful staff. All speak good English.

Cons:

Like most hotels in Japan the rooms are small and not enough hanging space for your clothes
