You get what you booked
Pros:

You get exactly what you booked. The hotel isn’t particularly nice, but it’s fine. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to the airport.

Cons:

If you get a room facing the pool, the view isn't great and you might be woken up early.

Hotel Tostar is a simple and clean hotel with a great location and very friendly staff, ideal for a short stay in Singap

had a pleasant stay at Hotel Tostar. The location was very convenient, with many shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel was basic but clean, perfect for spending a couple of nights comfortably. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay

We liked the neighboring restaurants & bakeries (especially Steak Stop)
Pros:

Pool was very nice, cool refreshing water.

Cons:

The room doors were quite solid, but there was a gap at the bottom that let in noise from the corridor & lifts. A damper or cushion at the bottom would be nice.
