Pros:

Staff very nice. 24 hour check in (which seems to be rare in Assisi). Great breakfast! We had rented a car and the convenience of parking on site was amazing. The view from the restaurant balcony is beautiful. Rooms are basic enough but the location is unbeatable.

Cons:

The hotel has a pool/spa but to use it you must pay 45 euro. There is no discount for persons already staying at the hotel, which is a bit much. Also, if you book a treatment, like a massage, you would still need to pay 45 euro on top of the treatment cost. This is the first place I've seen that charges for both, most if you book a treatment you get the access to spa included. Also it's 20 euro surcharge for the car park per night. Just a lot of extra costs.

Cons:

Ci è stata assegnata una stanza nella dependance, cosa che non era stata specificata durante la prenotazione.
Questa parte dell’hotel non è assolutamente da 4* sembrando più che altro un b&b, inoltre essendo esterna alla struttura principale, bisogna uscire per raggiungere la reception e la sala colazioni.
Ok gli arredi e i bagni nuovi ma non c’era nemmeno una sedia nè un tavolo nella camera.
La serratura della stanza non si chiudeva dall’interno, l’abbiamo segnalato alla reception e ci è stato detto che ci avrebbero mandato una persona a sistemarla, stiamo ancora aspettando questa persona… 😒
Nel frigobar abbiamo trovato una bottiglia di vino aperta lasciata dai precedenti ospiti: bisognerebbe avere maggior cura per i dettagli!
Le lenzuola erano appoggiate direttamente sul materasso, senza un coprimaterasso a garantire una maggior igiene del letto.

Posizione eccellente e comfort assicurato.
Pros:

Quattro giorni durante il Calendimaggio medievale. Posizione eccellente. La mini suite con terrazza vista valle è stata eccezionale. L'edificio storico con varianti moderne è molto bello. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante dell'hotel la prima sera ed è stato di ottima qualità con cucina tipica umbra con varianti di raffinatezza. Abbiamo anche utilizzato la Spa che è ben dotata anche se essenziale. La capienza è da 4 persone ma eravamo noi due soli. Molto bello, ma non è inclusa nel prezzo. Personale cortese e sorridente.

Cons:

Può sembrare una sciocchezza ma se ceno in un ristorante elegante e raffinato, oltreché in un edificio storico e nel periodo del Calendimaggio medievale, la musica techno un-z un-z durante la cena è decisamente una stonatura. Strano, perché a colazione la musica era un pop rilassante. Altra cosa migliorabile è l'accesso alla Spa da vestiti, per poi cambiarsi nel clima vaporoso, umido e caldo. Passi all'ingresso, ma uscire accaldati e sudati nonostante la doccia e doversi vestire non va bene. Pazienza per l'obbligo di costume che è tipicamente italiano e non da noi apprezzato (veniamo dal nord, dove la tradizione della sauna non prevede vestiti di alcun tipo).

Hotel molto bello ed accogliente. E' possibile raggiungere a piedi la lBasilica di San Francesco e il centro di Assisi. Lo consiglio
