Fine for one night but wouldn't want to stay any longer, especially if the weather is warm
Pros:

Location was convenient for my business needs. Reception staff and bar staff friendly and helpful. Room was quiet.

Cons:

The general condition of the hotel is tired and needs refurbishment—scrapes on walls and chipped paint. The air conditioning was useless. Didn't like there being no door on the shower.

Cons:

Die Zimmerausstattung war grundsätzlich okay, allerdings ließ die Sauberkeit stark zu wünschen übrig. Unter dem Bett war es sehr schmutzig, im Badezimmer waren Ameisen, und der Bürostuhl war beschädigt, das Leder sah aus, als hätte jemand darauf herumgekaut. Zudem gab es Schlieren und Flecken an den Wänden. Insgesamt leider kein angenehmer Eindruck.

Lage gut, Stimmung nicht ganz so locker...
Pros:

Schönes, vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet, sehr gute An- und Abreise mit der Busstation direkt vor dem Hotel oder auch zu Fuss vom Bahnhof aus gut machbar. Trotz der recht zentralen Lage ist es ziemlich ruhig, auch am Weekend. Die Möglichkeit zu haben, direkt etwas im Hotelrestaurant zu essen, war auch positiv. Das Bett war angenehm, ich habe gut geschlafen.

Cons:

Der Wasserkocher war voll Seife bzw. Putzmittel (hat richtiggehend geschäumt beim ersten Versuch, Wasser einzufüllen). Und auch in diesem Hotel sind die Duschscheiben zu klein (was zu einer kleinen Überschwemmung ausserhalb der Duschkabine führte). / Dass man bei der Ankunft trotz vorgängig bezahltem Hotelzimmer noch ein Sicherheitsdepot von Fr. 70.- hinterlegen muss, ist doch eher ungewöhnlich. "Dies sei für allfällige Ausgaben, die man macht...", hiess es. - Das Nachtessen konnte ich dann zwar auf das Zimmer (auf mein bezahltes Depot) buchen, doch zuerst war es unklar, ob's geht. Irgend etwas musste zuerst abgeklärt werden... Was genau? Bei den Hotelgästen am Nachbarstisch war es überhaupt keine Diskussion, dass es machbar ist. Für mich fühlte es sich so an, als würde man mir präventiv schon mal misstrauen. Warum? Schade... (natürlich bin ich mir bewusst, dass es leider unehrliche Gäste gibt - und solche, die sich in Hotelzimmern an fremdem Eigentum bedienen -, doch die sind sicher eine kleine Minderheit; darum sollte man nicht allen misstrauen). / Einzelne Hotelangestellte waren sehr freundlich, bei einigen schien mir aber auch eine schlechte, unmotivierte Stimmung durchzudringen...
