Sehr rustikales Hotel, mit sehr freundlichem Personal.
Staff were so friendly and helpful, the cocktail hour, open fires and piano playing were a highlight! Perfect distance to walk into Katoomba. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious! Look forward to staying again.
The hotel is always impeccably clean, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The beds are so comfortable that we always enjoy a restful night's sleep.
One of the things we love most is opening the windows and breathing in the fresh mountain air. It is such a simple pleasure, but it makes every stay feel special and relaxing.
The location is perfect, close to everything you need, including shops, cafés, restaurants, and the many wonderful attractions of Katoomba and the Blue Mountains.
What keeps us coming back time and time again is the warm atmosphere and consistent quality. We genuinely love this hotel and always look forward to our next visit. We highly recommend the Mountain Heritage Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay in the Blue Mountains.
The staff were very friendly and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel is old but very cozy. The view from the bar and restaurant downstairs was stunning. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night playing board games and listening to the pianist. We also took advantage of happy hour at the bar and enjoyed the complimentary canapés.
We couldn’t get a car park on our second night as it was very busy over the long weekend, however managed to find one up the road. It’s a bit far to walk into town, but it’s only a very short drive.
The property was well-maintained and had a wonderful ambiance about it. Listening to the pianist while sipping a cocktail on a cold Saturday night was definitely a highlight. Very calm and peaceful here. Enjoyed the extensive photo collection too.
Liked everything. This hotel is a hidden gem 😊
Incredible building old but well looked after
Heating in the rooms worked really well
Amazing view
It’s so cozy and the view from my room was amazing. It was also very spacious.
Stayed in a cool turet
Nothing, was amazing
Nothing
The property is old and needs updating. It is overpriced and very simple things are missed. For example we had our wedding anniversary and we let the place know. It was a special occasion. We got a printed note without even a signature from the manager. It was a printed signature and two small biscuits in a little packet. I would just like to say don’t bother - the hotel was also not busy so we suggested. Could we get upgraded. Sadly, they did not upgrade our room and we had a beautiful view of a rooftop. It has to be one of the most disgusting views of all the hotel rooms I have stayed in….very very disappointed. As for the facilities the carpet had stains the bathroom had a shower curtain and it was truly not clean.
Clean and near all amnesties .

Refurbished but still kept the charm of the heritage hotel. Absolutely loved the decor and vibe of the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Lounge area was cosy and great for spending time. Well situated near town as well! Staff was super friendly too.
View from the property was a huge bonus.
Do note that there are no lifts so just be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs if you stay on the 2nd floor.
Nothing!
Location stunning view of the blue mountains
Home made cupcakes at breakfast
Breakfast buffet was good
Staff so nice
Very clean hotel
Parking easy
Beds comfortable
Towels soft and fluffy
Nice soap shampoo etc
Room warm
Short walk to Katoomba town
It's an older hotel so we didn't expect modern rooms. Could do with bit of a Reno in the room we stayed in. Well used furniture and a few carpet stains.
