Hidden gem with views fireplace and only 5 min walk to town!
Pros:

The old fashioned charm and service was like nothing we have ever experienced! The open fires in the main room with the bar nearby overlooking the mountains was exceptional! Walk to Katoomba!

We had a 4 night winter stay and enjoyed it immensely.
Pros:

We were after a cosy, olden days guest-house feel and that's exactly what we got. We enjoyed the common areas, especially when we realised there were open fires in a sitting room. We had a superb view from our room across to the Jamison Valley.
Breakfast buffet was delicious as was the dinner the two nights we dined in.
We were using the excellent Blue Mountains train services and our hotel was only a 5 or 6 minute walk away.

Cons:

No dislikes
