Loved everything about this location
No complaints
The photos are absolutely not representative of the current condition of this property. They must have been shortly after they renovated years ago. Our room smelled like mold/mildew and had an air purifier/dehumidifier in it to apparently help with this known issue. I would expect ours was not the only room. The spa was not heated, bases in the photos of the heaters, it's been for sometime now. You cannot say it's under renovation when it all works otherwise. A new heater can be replaced very easily. The cabanas were in disarray and unusable as well.
In short, my wife and I wanted this to be better. Location is great, staff is friendly, but the property is in need of a lot of TLC to be even average.
Shower was good.
Bed was very uncomfortable
Beautiful property. Clean rooms, pool, hot tub, firepit, easy access to beach
Need more tables and chairs outside
The location was good. Right on the beach.
It doesn’t look like what’s posted online. It is run down. The beds are like sleeping on plywood. The floors get wet and slippery with the humidity from the doors opening. They had a TV in front of another TV. Quests one didn’t work. The room was in could use some repair.
Currently staying at the hotel it has some modern recent upgrades.
The swimming pool is very warm. It’s actually hotter than the hot tub tho.
The shower takes about 10 minutes to get warm. It never really gets hot.
And for anyone that smokes, we was never told that check-in. The full property is completely non-smoking.. so I was on the balcony smoking not in my room along with at least 10 other guests that I have seen smoking on the property many times throughout the day and was told by a worker at the property is non-smoking and I would be charged $250. I don’t see how I could be charged when I wasn’t told and apparently nobody staying at the hotel was told either if everybody was smoking outside.
Beautiful beach front view, close to Daytona & all the places we wanted to visit & explore. Enjoyed our morning beach stroll every day. Had an outdoor shower & hose to rinse off beach items. Really appreciated the daytime staff- The front desk gentleman Lensworth was very helpful & kind to me. I was struggling with the smell of cleaning supplies in our room because of my sensitive pregnancy symptoms, so he helped me find a room that accommodated my sensitivity better.
The stairs need a better grip on them, since they stay pretty wet with the weather, salt & close beach access. The metal strip on the edge of all the outdoor stairs is very slippery- my husband & my brother both struggled with maintaining their balance on the stairs.
Everything
Parking kind of sucked
We loved the glass wall by the pool that did not block the view of the ocean.
Every morning I woke up with bug bites on my legs and ankles. I found two bugs that I believe were bed bugs.
The location was perfect! Right on the beach the view was amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The property still needs a lot of repairs. The pool light wasn’t working and pillows need to be replaced.
It definitely needs updating. Rusty doors, bad paint touch ups, beds were chipped and the desk chair had tares in it.
Notting
Notting and when I got there I had to put 100 dollars deposit I been to many hotels with my husband and this was the first time I had to put deposit and when I went to the room went to the restroom and the toilet didn’t even work I had to go downstairs and tell them to fix it
Location is great
The view was great and easy access to everything.
The phone in the room didn’t work, remote was missing, the key card had to be reprogrammed 6 x’s while we were there. Room had patched areas in the walls that were crumbling. All but maybe one staff member there was rude and didn’t want to be bothered. Lock on the sliding glass door was broke and they had to wood piece to lay in the track to keep it from being opened.
Location & pool area was nice .
Was not clean . The lobby had major water leaks with buckets . The lamps in the room were rusted out .
We paid 220$for a room and another 156$ and almost all day yesterday could not take a shower could not flush the toilet no running water I feel I should be compensated some of this back
Like the convenience of the beach in the pool but very bad service as far as not being able to use a toilet&shower
