Exceeded expectations- would highly recommend
Pros:

Clean sheets, clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, best AC we have found in Italy so far, great water pressure, great location- away from the super popular places.

Cons:

Near a street where cars are allowed to drive ( good since you can get to and from the hotel/bad when walking on the street)

La ubicación del hotel es excelente para pasear por Lucca y las habitaciones son grandes. El personal es increíblemente amable, mención especial para el personal del desayuno y el de recepción.
Desayuno muy completo, no de buffet pero te sirven lo que solicites.

Cons:

Aunque el hotel está muy bien, es demasiado "rococó" para mi gusto y la relación calidad/precio (únicamente teniendo en cuenta las instalaciones) no es del todo ajustada. Si lo tenemos en cuenta en relación con la amabilidad del personal y la ubicación del hotel es excelente.

A hotel that has real charm and a friendly atmosphere
Pros:

Mario, Roberto, Alysio and Benedict were all first class and provided excellent service.
The Hotel has real character and is in a quiet road yet close enough to all the main attractions.

Cons:

I last went to this hotel in 2015 and I found little change from my previous visit which in the majority of cases is good although it is probably in need of a slight upgrade.

A fantastic 1 night stay in Lucca - loved the place and the hotel and would stay again
Pros:

A lovely Italian Palazzo decorated in a traditional style and in a great location. No shower but refreshing to have a good bath instead. The staff and owner were amazing. Great comms on driving into the city and very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was also great.

Cons:

Facilities could benefit from a refresh in places. - maybe accommodate a bath and shower?
