Das topmoderne Melia ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Entdeckung und Erkundung von Luxemburg.
Pros:

Die Lage im topmodernen Quartier auf dem Kirchberg ist optimal, wenn man Luxemburg besichtigen möchte und die Aussicht von den Eckzimmern in den oberen Etagen ist umwerfend. Die moderne Architektur des Melia und der umliegenden Gebäude wie das MUDAM oder die Philharmonie haben uns begeistert. Das Angebot der Level Lounge ist dringend zu empfehlen, denn was dort bereitgestellt wird, ist stets frisch, vielfältig und schön präsentiert. Dies ist eine Sonderleistung des Hotels, die wir sehr geschätzt haben. Auch das grosszügige Frühstücksbuffet lässt nur wenig Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Es hat uns sehr gestört, dass Hunde im Frühstücksbereich zugelassen sind. Ich wurde von einem sehr grossen Hund attackiert, aber der Halter konnte das Tier glücklicherweise vor dem Zuschnappen noch zurückziehen. Solche Begegnungen könnten, ja sollten eigentlich in einem Top Hotel vermieden werden.

Schönes Hotel in einer schönen Gegend
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und an einer guten Lage, direkt an der Philharmonie. Der Flughafen und die Stadt sind gut mit der Tram erreichbar. Der Spaziergang zur Altstadt ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es gab eine Koffer-Aufbewahrung, falls man eine spätere Abreise hat. Die Qualität des Frühstücksbuffets war sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Frühstückbüffet hätte abwechslungsreicher bzw. mit mehr Auswahl sein können. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hat aber Tische teilweise abgeräumt, obwohl man nur kurz Kaffee holen war und auch Sachen liegen gelassen hat. Die Zimmer waren zum Flur hin hellhörig.

Schönes Frühstücksbuffet

Cons:

Erstes Zimmer welches wir bekamen war nicht bezugsfertig. Zimmer war nicht gemacht. Haben dann ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, indem das 2. Bett erst später gemacht wurde. Aus Kulanz hätten wir etwas trinken können in der Bar was wir mit 2 Kindern allerdings nicht machten.

Luxe hotel
Pros:

Ruime kamer met super groot bed en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf. Ook de badkamer was groot. Ontbijt prima, hoewel ik de koffiekoeken niet super vers vond. De complementary drankjes en hapjes in de lounge waren een aangename verrassing en zorgen voor wat ontspanning na een lange treinreis.

La cercanía al aeropuerto, que el personal de recepción y del restaurante hable español, el servicio de habitaciones.

Espere muchísimo para que me traigan la comida en el restaurante.
Algo muy malo fue que justo ese mismo dia despues de haber gastado 136€ me dio una diarrea desde el viernes al sadado. Y fue lo unico que comi porque me dolía muchísimo el estómago 😣 fui al médico y me dijo que efectivamente fue la comida. Aún asi me gustó el hotel pero no volvería a comer ahi.
