Trzeszcząca podłoga i szafki, grzyb na ścianach i suficie w łazience, słaba oferta śniadaniowa, szczególnie dla wegan/wegetarian, nieprzyjemny zapach. Spodziewałam się lepszego standardu po trzech gwiazdkach

Location was handy

Cons:

The hotel is in a very good location, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. The housekeeping staff were also kind and did their job well, which I really appreciated.

However, I was disappointed with the overall condition of the room. It felt quite old and in need of renovation. While it appeared to be cleaned, the carpet was in very poor condition and had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel less comfortable.

At night, noise from the hallway could be heard clearly through the door, which made it difficult to rest.

Overall, while the location and staff were positive aspects, the condition of the hotel itself did not meet expectations. I hope management can address these issues in the future.

we had a great time exploring Kaunas in every direction from the Metropolis "headquarters"
Pros:

Location is great, next 2 promenade, many museums
The hotel has history, as Mr Sugihara stayed here 2 issue visas 2 jews.
It was convenient 4 us since we have no car & mostly walk. Bus stops very close, Student square & National Drama Theater.
It is I think the closes place 2 stay for events at Zalgiris Hall?
Breakfast plentiful, although the curd dessert could B wo palm oil. the croissants were huge

The floors were kinda squiky, perhaps other guests didnt even walk so roughly but it made lots of noise with every step
Someone should oil that front door! Just drip oil into the hinges. It made my mom nervous haha
if your window opens to the street, it can be noisy at night, but thats the price to pay to be in the middle of the hustling and bustling
yes and the poor fridge was also noisy! kept growling all night. I think our room (209) fridge might need switching out.
The armchair in the room had a stain on it. try lemon juice and soda to remove it!

Pros:

Brokastis bija garšīgas, bet svaigie salāti beidzās jau 8.30 un siļķi neriskēju paņemt pēdējo , ja nu kādam var nepietikt, pupiņas atnesa vēl, apelsīni un greipfrūti nebija sagriezti, varbūt lai neizņem.

Cons:

Hotelis ir absolūts retro no pagājuša gadsimta, ja nu vienīgi TV un Wi-Fi. Arī patreiz tas atgādina senos laikus: augsti griesti, plati koridori. Tas var patikt, bet var arī nepatikt. Piemiņas plāksne ārpusē.

Soviet Union hotel - student dormitory
Pros:

The location is in the center city. Stuff was nice. Parking for the car.

Cons:

The building is old - inside maybe 20-30 years ago made renovation. Room is very bad. Old furniture's from Soviet Union... Bathroom is dirty and old - like in a student dormitory. At night noises from engineering equipment outside the window. Price - as for 4 star hotel...
