A charming stay with a cosy, comfortable room, wonderful staff, and a fantastic central location.
Pros:

Loved my stay! The room was clean, cosy, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The staff were lovely, friendly, and welcoming throughout. The location was very central, making it easy to get around and explore. Having parking available was also a bonus. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Cons:

If I could change one thing, I would have loved a stronger fan or air conditioning in the room, especially on these hot summer days.

Pros:

Comfortable and well-furnished room with air con
Friendly staff. Ample and varied breakfast. Excellent location.

Cons:

Not a problem for me, but there is no lift and there were steep stairs in my split-level room. Guests should perhaps be forewarned about this.

Beautiful but boiling hot during heatwave
Pros:

Beautiful old cosy hotel in the heart of Romsay. Nice comfy rooms but NO A/C.
Patio with wonderful plants and lovely atmosphere.

Cons:

The heat wave in a room with blocked windows and no air conditioner. Please unblock the windows! And buy electric mobile
a/c systems. The 3 rooms were 30°C, and this is the 3rd heatwave of the season, you need to find a solution.

Lovely stay with friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally friendly. We were travelling with our 5 months old son and they were really helpful with adjusting things to our needs. Room was clean. It's location right in town center was lovely and it wasn't loud at all.

Cons:

We were travelling during the heatwave and rooms do get quite warm. They did provide us with fans which was good.

Decent for what we needed but the air con needs improving.
Pros:

Well located. Excellent bar and terrace. Quiet. Well appointed.

Cons:

The air con in 402 was ineffective so had to use the fan in addition. We didn’t eat there but it looked inviting.
