Well located. Excellent bar and terrace. Quiet. Well appointed.
The air con in 402 was ineffective so had to use the fan in addition. We didn’t eat there but it looked inviting.
Outstanding in every which way. My fiancee and I cannot speak highly enough about the White Horse Hotel.
Our room was immaculate, the service superb and the staff at all levels, probably the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. So nice to have local staff who clearly enjoyed discussing and promoting the area.
We dined in both the restaraunt and the bar and in each instance the food was excellent. The full English breakfast is probably the best we have had for quite a while - well proportioned and perfectly cooked.
We have absolutely no hesitation in throughly recommending The White Horse and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Management and Staff on providing such a welcoming and well run hotel.
We will be back!

Very nice hotel and great staff. We had a fabulous one nights stay which included breakfast which was also very nice. Would highly recommend.
Lovely location and well presented.
No air con in my room only a fan very hot and uncomfortable.
Locatie vriendelijkheid en stijl
Geen airco
Clean and comfortable, check in staff were very helpful and swapped us to a room with a bath when we requested one. The patio area was lovely and the live music on Friday evening was a lovely touch
The wait at breakfast both for hot drinks and the cooked portion was very long
Lovely hotel in centre of Romsey, good food and service
Centrally located hotel of character and charm. Room was comfortable and clean with several nice touches such as a coffee machine and quality toiletries. Air conditioning was very welcome.
Amazing staff and exceptional room

Loved the location in this idyllic village. Central and so very comfortable. Bonus to have a balcony.
For longer stays a little fridge would be ideal.
A massive thank you to Abby who found my wedding ring.
A little flexibility on check out time. I got stuck in traffic and those 10 minutes meant I would have been able to get my ring and carry all the cases down. My 66 y/o mum had to carry them and wasn’t offered any help, after asking for 10 minutes.
Location, room comfort, excellent shower. Staff were welcoming even tough i arrived late into the evening. Also very nice breakfast at a fair price.
No on site parking was a bit of a drag. But the car park recommended by the staff was a 4 min drive and a 2min walk back through the alleyway. And it was dirt cheap.
