Comfortable room and lovely breakfast.
All staff were very friendly.
The staff were brilliant.
Nothing
Location in center of village near shopping, restaurants and market.
No elevator.
Lovely historic building. Developed into a hotel in a considered and sensitive way with very little compromise of comfort or space. Great breakfast too. The location is really good, right in the heart of Romsey.
Don't know.
Amazing breakfast, alot of choices, many types of cooked breakfast choices
Very high standard of decor in hotel and the bedroom we stayed in
The property has lovely lounges, and my room was a good size, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The single rooms (which my son stayed in) are small and very hot. The hotel did provide a larger fan for him. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was outstanding. Well worth making a booking.
Excellent location, helpful friendly staff, very comprehensive facilities in the room, first class😀.
We love the White Horse and have stayed there on numerous occasions. This time we had a medical problem and paramedics had to attend. The staff could not have been kinder or more caring. Susana, Noah, Callum and Abi were amazing and supportive. We know we will be visiting again.
Romsey town is beautiful and the hotel is very central, a 5 minute walk from a large car park. The facilities were great, lovely toiletries provided, room was very clean and water pressure was wonderful. Tea and coffee is provided and a bottle of water each. Good selection of drinks from the bar and the hotel staff allowed us a slightly earlier check in to get ready for a wedding on site.
Everything was brilliant and would recommend a stay here, just a couple of things that needed fixing in our room - two plug sockets didn't work and the headboard came away from the wall in the night so needed securing. Just a couple of improvements but not unexpected in a period style building.
Everything, location, bar, food and staff were great.
I was in the front of the hotel on one occasion and the oldness and squeaky come to the fore.
Apparently as a result of my visit to the White Horse yesterday 15 May 2026, 2 police officers visited me at my home. This upset my wife. I have asked the police if they need to speak to me in future, they should ask me to come to Romsey police station. This would avoid the upset to my wife.
Le charme de cet endroit du XIV siècle qui transpire le charme anglais de l’époque.
We liked everything
