前もって予約して頂き、全て対応して頂き、いつもの様に、快適でした。

Cons:

入浴剤を入れて、ゆっくりさせて頂いたのですが、次の日、お風呂にお湯を入れますと、前日の入浴剤のラメが浮かんでたので、念入りにお掃除して頂ければと思いました。

A 4-star hotel in name only - milk-flavored coffee, a bed like a prison cell, a pillow that reeked of stale cigarettes,

Absolutely nothing! High price definitely not 4 star hotel

Cons:

Where do I start - honestly, everything. In more detail: Hotel Granvia Okayama doesn’t match a 4-star European hotel by even 1%. We checked in and immediately went for a coffee - the latte tasted like milk. Just milk. But that wasn’t even the worst part.
We’d booked a “better” room on the 16th floor, and it was so tiny we couldn’t even fully unpack our suitcases. Then came the real low point: the night. The bed was a nightmare - I’d expect that kind of bed in a prison, not a hotel. Concrete-hard. Maybe they were going for a “contemporary art piece” concept with it, who knows. And the pillow - the pillow smelled like it had spent years in a smoking room where someone eventually opened a window and hoped for the best. Truly disgusting.

The day before checkout, we asked reception if they could collect our suitcases from the room the next morning (we had five, so not a small ask). Naturally, no one showed up, and we had to call down ourselves to remind them - they’d simply forgotten.

To sum up: this hotel is nowhere near 4-star European standards. Honestly, I’d put it on par with an Ibis.

The location if perfect: right in front on the train station and on the main street. With the tram (or a 20 minute walk) we could easily access the Castle and Park.

Convenient location at the train station
Pros:

Great hotel for those doing a quick stay in Okayama - it is literelly inside the train station.

Cons:

Our first room was old and not clean, but when we complained, they were quick to change us to a better one (Compliments to the staff!). I stayed with the impression that the quality of the rooms varies a lot, so perhaps it is worth it to pay a little more to stay in a newer one.

Pros:

朝食付き一泊で予約しました。3人で利用しましたがトリプルベッドも想像以上にゆったりして良かったです。
また、夕食は予約無く入店し夜景を見ながらゆったりと食事ができました。
その夕食代がサービスしていただいたようて…感激でした。岡山に来た際は、グランビィアホテルにします。

Cons:

朝食のコーヒーマシーンが一台で、混雑して来ると待ちがあり、少し残念でした。
ボットに作っておくのも有りかなと思います。
