Awesome experience. This hotel is lovely. The Junior suite was amazing, huge shower and tub and lovely fireplace. Amazing location!! We walked everywhere for food and shopping.
Staff was so friendly and helpful. Self parking is free and in the garage behind the hotel. I would festively stay again.
My mom and I came to Napa to celebrate her 82nd birthday! She uses a walker and she found the premises to be very walker friendly. We used valet to stow away our car and that went very well. I was able to communicate to the front desk via text throughout our trip and that was very handy and they always texted me back reasonably quickly. We had a problem with our tv not working properly (we could not change channels) and the their tech person Cooper came out twice to deal with it and he was so nice and so smart and he was determined to get the issue resolved for us and after his second visit, it was fixed. We were given a bottle of wine plus some charcuterie upon arrival and we were given another bottle plus some chocolate/strawberry treats after our tv problem. We used room service for breakfast each morning and I was able to order from my phone via a website which was easy to use and our food showed up within the hour and was delicious. Our room was on the third floor above a bar that is next door and the bar had loud live music that went on until 11:15 on Saturday night so if you go to bed early, request a room that is not nearby that bar! We go to bed later than that so it was not an issue at all for us. On the last day, I texted the time I would need to receive my car and that was taken care of flawlessly. There were many restaurants and shops that were within a block of our hotel so the location was also excellent
Wonderful experience! Staff was very attentive and helpful, especially office manager, Jocelynn.
The rooms are beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable.
It’s a prime location for downtown Napa as everything is walkable There are tastings nearby that can be scheduled and through the hotel as well with a discounted rate.
We highly rate the breakfast. Excellent choices and food. Our waiter was very helpful as well, giving a lot of attention to us and offering helpful places.
Valet parking was quick and efficient.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We spent 3 weeks travelling in California, and this hotel which was our final destination before our flight home to London, was almost our favourite, as the breakfasts were utterly delicious. This was so welcome after so much of the indifferent food we had experienced before staying here. However it was pipped at the post by another hotel in San Francisco which provided exceptional service when we first arrived and I needed to buy a charger for the battery in my camera. The concierge there really went the extra mile, and within minutes we had been transported by taxi to the shop which stocked exactly what I needed, at an incredibly reasonable price. It is these touches which make the difference in the competitive world of hospitality, which is sadly losing its focus on its guests. The Andaz does not provide a full catering service which is a shame given the quality of its breakfasts, and amongst the plethora of other restaurants in the area we did not find anywhere else providing food which could be described as good, especially given the universally high prices in Napa. Overall, however, our stay here was very good and I would return, if I were to return to Napa.
Staff were very accommodating when we needed an early check-in for a VIP event at a show at the Uptown theater. I thought they went above and beyond to get a room for us. Rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable and shower is amazing with rain waterfall feature. The food at Andaz Farmers Table was delicious and our server, Vilma, provided us with excellent service. Would definitely be back for another stay!
The only thing is that their pillows were not that great.
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown. We parked our car and walked to beautiful restaurants and enjoyed all that Napa had to offer
I was offered a room upgrade without asking for one. The hotel was beautiful & clean and located in downtown Napa. I look forward to returning.
Excellent location, spacious rooms and warm staff

This is by far the worst hyatt property. It is an old property with minimal maintenance being done. Everywhere you look, you can see faded paints, dated switches and employees with very little interest in customer service. They were not showing FIFA world cup in the room with the worst excuse that their provider does not allow them to do so. My wife went to ladies room downstairs and there was a cleaner very busy on his cell phone asking her to use the men's room. The bar tender has zero interest in engaging with the patrons and happy to just finish his shift. All points to lack of management. I asked to speak with the GM twice and he/she never bothered to reach out. I am a globalist and stay in Hyatt 8-10 times a month. By far, the worst experience.
We were greeted immediately we got out of the car. The young man took our bags and then organised valet parking for us. Offered a glass of wine and water. The suite was fabulous. Large bathroom with big walk in shower. Very clean and a central fire place that would be wonderful in the cooler months
La ubicación es muy buena y el personal realmente muy amable, tuvimos un inconveniente y lo resolvieron de la mejor manera. El desayuno es a la carta un poco alto el precio pero muy bueno
No tiene gym. Y la habitación era pequeña
Though my visit was short, Andaz made my one-night stay very enjoyable and I would love to return to enjoy the late-night kitchen and bar and explore downtown Napa. Amenities in the room made me feel comfortable and clean.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary, opting for a weekend flight and relaxing stay in Napa to celebrate. For more than a year, I saved my Hyatt points to celebrate in style - and chose Andaz Napa because it's a category 6 hotel that uses words like "relax", "retreat" and "unwind" on the front page of its website.
58,000 Hyatt points was a lot of points for two nights - but we considered it a splurge to celebrate our anniversary away from kids, in style and to relax.
Sunday was our day to truly unplug. We started with a recommended lunch at Auberge du Soliel, followed by a stop at a winery and a croissant at Bouchon Bakery in Yountville. Knowing we had a 6:30pm reservation at Bottega, we decided we'd splurge for an unheard of treat - a quiet afternoon back at Andaz to take advantage of the relaxation, retreat and unwind we'd looked forward to.while we collected our 58,000 points.
Around 3pm, we walked back into our hotel room 239 to find our housekeeper finishing serving our room. She was great. She quickly finished sprucing up our bathroom and left. That's when we realized the situation.
In room 239, our window looked out on the terrace where a loud party was underway.
And loud is an understatement.
Less than 20 feet from my pillow was one of the speakers blaring music for a party. I laid down, trying to sleep. It was impossible. After a while, I grabbed my phone and downloaded a decibel meter app. It showed that, from my pillow, the sound varied between 74 and 86 decibels. It said that's the volume of a vacuum cleaner.
After more than an hour of frustration, I grabbed my phone again in an attempt to alert the hotel to our situation. On the front page of the Hyatt app is an icon to "Text the Hotel". I clicked the button and was taken to the text app - and to a number that I know works because I got a text from the hotel Saturday when our room was ready for us.
At 5:02pm, I sent a text to that number, describing our situation, hoping someone would contact us to ask us how they could make the situation better.
No one ever replied.
To make our 6:30pm anniversary reservation in Yountville, we left at 6:05pm, just as the party was wrapping up and the music ended. Our relaxing afternoon away from kids ended with frustration at the volume, disappointment that our attempts to ask for help went unanswered and not a wink of sleep.
This hotel is nice, the staff we interacted with are personal and the location is ideal for a relaxing anniversary stay.
And we understand hotels host events that make noise. But this wasn't in a ballroom or a meeting room. This was vacuum cleaner level volume right outside our window.
We would've been disappointed with 5 hours of that noise 20 feet from our pillow and a lack of response at any of the many Hyatt Houses and Hyatt Places we've visited across the country. We expected another level of service and relaxation when we made our first ever reservation at an Andaz hotel.
Instead, we left with our Hyatt account drained, our desire for a relaxing anniversary stay unmet and our disappointment high that, in our attempt to connect with the hotel through a means that we know works, went ignored.
As a follow up, I sent this note to the hotel's general manager after check out. To her credit, she replied within an hour, apologizing for the deafening noise and the lack of a response. She also credited me half of my points back to apologize.
Overall, a nice hotel in a convenient location with an appropriate Hyatt category rating. The employees were all pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If it wasn't for the deafening noise for five hours and the lack of responsiveness, I would've given it a 5 out of 5.
Clean, comfortable, great location, nice perks.
Avoid if possible. I had a small issue when I checked in and the nice woman at the front could not help, so she had to have her supervisor call me. I left our cell, and my room number of course. We walked through the Lobby several times, and the supervisor never called or even tried to contact me. $1200 for two rooms for one night. Something small ruined our whole Anniversary evening and they really could not care. I stayed at another hotel the next night and they were so much more accommodating. On top of that our suite was right over the VERY loud bar, and I love a good bar scene, but it was crazy and we had zero privacy. This is my first TripAdvisor review, I travel quite a bit, and this experience was so horrible I felt the need to share.
Either the soundproofing in the rooms was awful, or the band that was playing in the lobby had issues with calibrating the volume on their equipment, but either way, nobody in my party was able to sleep until well after midnight on the first night we stayed due to the noise from the band. Our second night went similarly. The band played until sometime after 11pm.
If you or your family expect to head to bed anytime before 11pm during your time in Napa, I highly recommend against staying here. Our stay was otherwise adequate. The room was reasonably clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
