lovely stay
Pros:

The staffs were so pleasant and friendly. the inside of the room was clean and the washroom was clean as well. the hallways of the hotel does not look the best but the rooms are comfortable. breakfast was good for a inn hotel. the only thing was the fan in the washroom was very loud but overall good stay. would recommend if you're saving and would like to stay a night somewhere.

Suffisant pour une nuit
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était suffisant. Place de parking gratuite, hôtel pas loin d’un Walmart. Frigo et micro onde dans la chambre

Cons:

L’hôtel n’est pas à Hamilton même, dans une zone plutôt industrielle. La moquette dans l’hôtel était sale. D’après Booking c’est un hôtel 4 étoiles, ce qui est faux (c’est un 2 étoiles).

The staff that were present when I checked in were very friendly. They did try to help.

Cons:

When I first walked into my room (206), it "looked" clean but the further into the room I got, I was met with the strong odor of vomit. It made me nauseous. I went down to the front desk and told them that I could not stay in there and they explained that they had no other room available. I had to leave right away to meet my daughter and the woman at the desk said she would go upstairs and see what she could do. I had already been charged for two nights.

When I returned later that night and entered the room, it didn't smell "as bad" but the window was open and it was really cold in the room. I closed the window and had to put the heat on. Then it stank to high heaven! I went to the front desk again and asked the gentleman that if I did stay the second night, would I be given a different room. He said unfortunately there was none available so the answer was no. He knew I was really upset and told me that I might be able to get a reimbursement. That is why I am sending this message.

I returned home to Mattawa yesterday and called the hotel. He said he would leave a note for the manager about this and I would receive a phonecall today. As of yet, I have not heard anything.

My husband and I have reservations there in June, since we are returning to Hamilton for a few days. I would like this cleared up before then.
