Pros:

I would like to mention and thank the lovely gentleman Foley who was on reception when we arrived he was welcoming and professional. He is an asset.
I would also like to mention the helpful and friendly housekeepers .
I liked the balcony overlooking the beautiful river and our room was comfortable.

Cons:

The carpet had lots of stains and lots of maintenance needs doing.

No coffee in the room only decaffeinated went to reception but it wasn’t open till 8 am
Two single mattresses that weren’t even may as well been a single bed
No smart tv or free wifi

Nothing spectacular, a bit run down, but a large room at a fair price.
Pros:

The room was large and spacious and the price was reasonable.

Cons:

The hotel is very run down and in need of renovation. The air conditioning unit in my room was very noisy. The bed was quite uncomfortable. A separate shower, rather than one over the bath, would have been better.

Disappointing given that this was recommended as the best place to stay locally.

The hotel was very quiet so many room options available. First room I was given was cold, smelly, stained carpets and several light bulbs out. Very friendly staff swapped my room but why give me such a shocking room in the first place when the hotel was virtually empty and many options of the same grade room were available.
